I'm putting together a lolita genderbend of the 10th Doctor. I put together this polyvere set that shows what I'm going for. Although now I think, I'm going to use a blazer instead of the cardigan. If anyone has any input, I would like to hear it.

Blazer, definatly. Still gonna wear Chucks right?!
I've always thought of doing a lolita 11th but can't quite think of the right way to go about the top half. or girly-ing up the hair. Gotta have the flip...

So cute! Wish I had thought of it myself. If I can get my fiance to come with me (he's never been to a con, I'd love to twin with you if you'd be interested. It's such a cute idea, and I'm all envious : )

Yeah, I still wearing Chucks. I put them on my birthday list.

I'm probably going to end up with this wig because I'm buying it for my Ukyo cosplay and the curly one with pigtails is out of stock right now. I'll see if it comes back.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew if the Doctor Who gathering was going to turn into the 'BBC gathering' like it did last year. I'm going to be going in for Sherlock myself, and I'm pretty sure any Hobbits/Merlins would appreciate a place to go to while we're doing British shows.

I think once they announce gatherings we'll know more about that. I'm sure we will still have the Friday night photoshoot, which was massive last year and will be every year I am certain.

I will once again be coming as Rose, since I'm working on other costumes this year.

Usually the gatherings have been Friday night around 5-7ish? And Saturday usually about the same time or a touch later.

I won't be going this year, but I look forward to all the pictures!

I'll be going as Clara Oswin Oswald this year. Finally got a dress that should work.

Also, did anyone ever submit a day and time for the gathering? I believe you have to do that if we want an official listing.

Oh I can say for certain, there will be a BBC shoot as well. Last year it started as the DW/TW/SJA shoot, and then the BBC'er spilled right in with no complaints!! I will be bringing my female Doctor Whooves & Femme Inspector Spacetime cosplays!! Can't wait to see all of you!

I want to see your merlin! I was gonna bring my fem merlin last year but thinking it was gonna be hot I didn't and then I kicked myself because it ended up being cold. BUT back on topic I may bring my fem 10 to ACen if I get it done on time.

going to do a fem 11th, but i'm having a little trouble with thinking of a hairstyle for him. I have medium-long length hair and short hair is a no for me, any ideas of what i can do to it(don't want to keep it straight cause thats no fun)?
