Okay we are scheduled officially for 11AM ,we're also the first slot for the East Outer Wall

Hi fellow Moonies!
I didn't see Sailor Moon 2013 , so I hope I'm not intruding on someone who started up at the end of last ACen.
As I"m sure you all know this is a big year for Sailor Moon what with the new translated manga and the new anime summer of 2013!
So I'd love to run this special sailor moon photoshoot if noone opposes!

I'm definitely doing something sailor moon related yet I just haven't decided which yet. At the moment I"m thinking Sailor V!

It says I'm a newbie since I had to get a new account but I am Lady Leopardess (badge name). I've gone several years ,only missing last year. />/>/>/>
Past sailor moon cosplays being Eternal Sailor Jupiter (2011) , Princess Kakyuu (2010 I think). I've also been Human Luna for the photoshoot />/>/>/>

Usually I know Sailor Moon photoshoot is Saturday and in the morning. Since I was not here last year I'm not sure if anything has changed , we had been meeting in the Dome . Yays or Nays on any of this?

Hello! Yeah I was kind of excited I got to start it , I 've attended several years of the shoot . Missed last year because I was in Japan.
I love Super Sailor Moon!

yeah Sailor V doesn't get cosplayed often , so I'm thinking it will be fun to do!

No problem! The list is nice since we'll be able to get a general idea of what characters people will be.

This is my first Sailor Moon cosplay and I haven't been to any of the previous shoots, but from what I've seen online, I believe the Moon shoot was on Saturday morning/early afternoon in the lower dome. Usually if I run into pictures from that shoot they're in that area.

well I know at least in 2011 that I think they didn't allow shoots in upper dome , so that's why I had just said dome.

Have you seen all the new items that have been coming out in the US? Italy got a new Crescent wand too , so now it's more affordable!

yeah they came out with new artemis and luna plushes. Of course my Artemis plush is much bigger XD .

My 2 besties have cosplayed Sailor scouts. I'm the only one that hasn't. I'm pretty sure sailor moon is, at one point or another, always on a cosplayers dream list.
Only just recently i've considered actually making one, and i think ACen will be the perfect time. I can't wait! There are always so many awesome sailor moon cosplays!! I can't wait to start looking for wigs and boots! >.> Any suggestions?

Your location says Japan. If you're in Japan I saw it seems Japan keeps better stock of tall red boots . ( course I couldn't find anything my size since I"m size 9 american /27 Japanese size) and then you could just change the boot to make it look sailor moon like.
There's usagi wigs on ebay or you could try buying a plain wig and style it yourself.

I know exactly what you mean. every now and then i can sqeeze my feet into a 25.5, buts thats the very highest some japanese shoe stores go.

You could also go as Princess Serenity then you wouldn't have to worry about finding the tall red boots XD
There are cosplay sites you can buy them on as well. I just remember seeing red boots in Ikebukuro's Sunshine City Mall and being like that's why there's so many superheros in anime with red boots because they have red boots there ! XD

I thought I read somewhere that props can only be as large as the cosplayer but someone else told me props can be larger if they can be taken apart into smaller pieces. Given that Saturn's weapon is so large, I'd like to have it be the correct size but I don't want to get in trouble.

Well the advantage of the dome is that we can get a large group shot on the staircase and there's no weather to deal with. (aka no wind flipping our skirts)

We've also done it on the east outer wall. The only problem I see with that is , when we did it there was my boot heels kept sinking into the ground.

Usually we do it on Saturdays. How would 11AM be for everyone?

I'm up for either location! Though it sounds like the dome may be a better option.

As for the day and time, Saturday at 11 would be perfect for me!

Oh my god, I'm beyond excited right now because I found more moonies! Also this is my first time going to ACen as well. A double dose of excitement.

I'm planning on going as Eternal Sailor Moon and if I create a group before then, someone I know might go as Sailor Mars or Sailor Uranus. It depends if she is going to ACen or not.
