I think that Hayao Miyazaki would be an AMAZING guest at ACen 2013~

His movies are almost the best ever, and I think just about everyone knows who he is.

Or at least seen his movies~ :33

Would be amazing but unless the con is the biggest of the big, I just can't see him as a possibility. Has he been to an anime-centric con in the states before? I know SDCC, but anything else (during the Disney era)?

Not going to happen, he has come to the US once and that was a favor to John Lasiter.

That's right. Last time he came to the US I think was to promote Ponyo at Comic Con with John Lasseter. The press had the nerve to ask him if he was ever gonna switch to computer animation. ~_~
