I've been Suika and Shikieiki so far at ACen and I've been running the shoots and the Welcome to Gensokyo panel for the past 2 years.

Would love to see more Touhou cosplays in 2013!

I was one of the Youmu's last year and I'll likely bring her back, but I'm also planning on cosplaying Ran this year!

My boyfriend is also going as Alice too.

Going to be bringing Suika back for 2013 because running around as a drunk Oni is so much fun, fun I missed having during 2012.

I'll be bringing her back though as Miko Suika for the Touhou Panel and probably one of the shoots. Going to aim to have two shoots in 2013 like we did in 2011.

I didn't make it to the Welcome to Gensokyo panel last year. Actually, I didn't make it to any panels! (first big con jitters/awkwardness for the lose) =/

I'll be there this year as either Daiyousei or Remilia.

Friday: Remilia Scarlet (Touhou Project)
Saturday: Daiyousei (Touhou Project)
Sunday: Sun Shangxiang (Dynasty Warriors 7)

I've only cosplayed her once at a small con, but I only had one person recognize me and call me "Cirno". xD Close enough! Anyway, I hope you recognize me and say hi or I just might die! Then who would Cirno have to look after her?

I am here to revive this thread because no Touhou thread on a convention forum should be lost and forgotten so easily~!

Hello, everyone~! In short, I'm an Artists' Alley dude, primarily dealing in Touhou artwork, who has been making his way across the country for a couple years now, scouting out conventions to make my fortune (or the closest I can muster to that). I also make cosplay music videos (or CMVs, as I like to call them) on the side, primarily focusing on Touhou cosplayers since I feel that the community doesn't seem to get nearly enough respect in others' cosplay-oriented videos; in fact, you may have met me if you were dressed up in Touhou garb last year at Youmacon~!

I typically don't dress up as any Touhou characters myself, since I typically pour all of my money into the tasks I just listed in the paragraph above, but I do my best to make it to as many Touhou-related events at conventions as possible and capture them on film (or, rather, my memory card, I guess). I look forward to seeing you all in May~!

Well, I'm happy to see that somebody from Youmacon has recognized me already. My videos seem to have gotten better since then, but that was a fun convention for me; I'm hoping for a similar experience this time at ACen~

Say, is there any decision being made as to when the photoshoot is going to take place at this convention, seeing as how the preliminary schedule was released about a week ago? I realize the likelihood of it proceeding immediately after the panel, but I've been to large conventions that haven't done it that way, so I don't want to assume... I just need to know for certain before the convention starts because I have Artists' Alley to contend with from 10 AM to 6:30 PM (though, if you guys were willing to be considerate of people like me, that would be much appreciated)~ :mellow:
