ACen hotel prices?

Hello, All!

I'm looking to attend ACen 2013 in a small group of 8 others (plus a chaperone). We're worried about hotel prices, and can't start crunching numbers for things until we can get a general idea of pricing.

What were the hotel costs and whatnot like in 2012?

We'd appreciate the help!

the Hyatt was about 160+ per night last year

Single through Quad $165.00 per night
Regency Club Add $30.00 per night to the room rate.
Suites Half off (50%) of the Hyatt’s rack rate per night.

Hilton:
Single through Quad $145.00

DoubleTree
Single /Double $135.00 per night
Triple $145.00 per night
Quad $155.00 per night

Embassy Suites
Single /Double (King) $155.00 per night
Triple (King) $165.00 per night
Quad (King) $175.00 per night

Single / Double (2 Beds)$175.00 per night
Triple (2 Beds) $185.00 per night
Quad (2 Beds) $195.00 per night
ACen 2013 Cosplay:
Hero from SMT: DS2, Emmet/Kudari from Pokemon Black and White, Roppi Izaya from Durarara, Hitoshura human form from SMT.

The hyatt is little over 10%, based on 189.99 room rate versus 165.00 last year.

those are last years rates, I wouldn't calculate anything until the new ones show up on the website... I'm not sure why someone posted old ones...

The old rates are good for reference. It's not that likely the 2013 rates would be significantly higher than the 2012 rates, right?

Probably but it's not 100% confirmed. Speculation leads to arguments like this:

Always figure in the 13% Rosemont charges with the rooms and parking fee. The normal rate for the Hyatt on a given night is $229 for a King/Double so there is a major difference we get considering we are basically taking over the hotel for the weekend.
