The representative said the Hyatt rooms are going fast in a kind of dismal voice. I called 5 seconds after 12 am after being on hold after 3 minutes.

They don't have this issue really. I've stayed at the hotel (jw marriott) they've had and it was $10 cheaper than the room in ACen(Hyatt). While they're both the same star rating, supposedly, jw marriott was much more luxurious and almost seemingly very catering to the guests. Here's the difference between the cons though, in terms of parties, AX has nothing on ACen. Despite their rave having a cash bar the last two of the three times (last year they moved it), it was no where near the party beast ACen was.

So you're saying the reason why the hotels are expensive is because:

1) Hotels figure that people will pay anything for a party

2) Because people like parties, they don't really have to do anything but sit back and watch the fireworks and get paid by ACen at the end for any damages? As well as what the people who partied pay for so they come out on top regardless?

Also....I feel bad for that lady ei666shii.

Me I'm waiting for Embassy or Double tree since I have points on those hotels.

We just booked our room. Unlike last year, and I think this is because we called the 888 number, they are going to charge a non-refundable deposit in April for one night's stay.

Is anyone else that booked over the phone or website going to be charged a deposit? If it's just for booking over the phone I'd like to know for next time.

Deposit shouldn't be charged until April 2013 regardless but call them just in case.

I am also waiting for the Embassy Suites, but I booked 2 rooms (2 double beds) at the Hyatt just in case I can't get the double king rooms at the Embassy. Anyways I have a question, how does the Embassy serve all the people that go there for their happy hour? I recently stayed there and were only 2 bartenders working the happy hour, I can't imagine what it would look like if it was booked at the max like it is for ACen!

The Embassy Suites that are double beds or single bed have an extra room with pullout bed in the couch. So I would say it can hold 5 but you should check the hotels policies before booking.

Most Hotels have at a max of four people because of fire code so I say check before you decide to book.

I wanted to book at the Hyatt but I was too busy to use it as a back up just in case the Embassy double beds end up book, so I might use the Double tree instead since it's cheaper than the Hyatt.
