IT IS NOW THE TIME OF YEAR WHEN THE ANIME CENTRAL MERCHANDISING TEAM LOOKS INTO RE-ORDERING THE ITEMS THAT WE SOLD OUT OF AT CON, AND ORDERING NEW ITEMS OF AWESOMENESS FOR YOU TO PURCHASE. Let's see....baseball cap would be a great idea, as would the coffee cup. Dollars to donuts, someone's gunna ask to try on the boxers (Though we'd have to be sure to get a good range of sizes for those extra thick staffers...)

Thank you for your suggestion! Did you know however, that we already do offer two different styles/sizes of umbrellas? =} They're really cool and good quality. Come get one.

Yes, it had crossed my mind. Perhaps we can have a "Try Me" pair and use some disinfectant spray like at bowling alleys. =} I'm joking. Size diversity wouldn't be much of an issue. We carry Small to 5x in shirts, we would do the same with the skivvies.

I would prefer items that would serve as advertising year-around.

I am interested in the button-down shirts, but fit may be a problem as many suppliers don't understand what the "X" sizes means. (different taper)

PLEASE if you get shirts, get them with useable pockets!

What?! I'm going to check them out. Now my question is how does it fair against the gust like winds?

My top picks for buying:

Towel/ Bathroom Kit- I'm looking in replacing some travel size containers.
"Con Fund" Piggy Bank- Something to remind me to keep saving every penny.
Chopsticks/ Bento Box- I need a Lunch box for work.

The small one is your typical small umbrella, but the large one is pretty awesome, its one of those sturdy golf type umbrellas.

I like the things that have a practical use, but I'm not too into a polo shirt or cap - I work a lot, and it's easier for me to just buy clothes that are also work-acceptable (and, awesome as ACen merch is, it is not Proper Workplace Attire for moi) So, my opinions:

-Pajama pants would be SO awesome. Something to lounge in when not all dressed up in cosplay, and then they could be like, my convention pajamas! So festive!
-A towel would also be a great idea. My roommates always seem to get to the towels before I do...and I always forget to bring mine, no matter how many times it's on my packing list. With an ACen-themed towel, I definitely couldn't forget. And again, festive!
-Chopsticks/bento box would also be great. Who *doesn't* need a compact way to transport the perfect amount of food?

Definately interested in getting the flask that was there the last few years, I've been iffy to buy them though cause they weren't sure if they have the inner lining to keep the metal from contaminating the taste of everything.

Voted for piggy bank and coffee cup cause 1) saving money for cons is hard and omg it would be useful! and 2) I'm a tea addict anymore. mugs are always welcome.

You gotta put soap in it, to promote people taking showers at the con along with the towel/bathroom kit. (Want to prevent con plague)

Maybe instead of bar soap do some body wash thing in future. Yeah I know it's not on the current voting list but... Could make up a complete "shower kit" with soap/wash, shampoo, towels, loofa, the flip flops...

This idea is actually something we hope to offer at some point in the future. As for this year, the items listed above are what we're researching and looking into offering. Great suggestion though! Thanks for your participation. =}

I was thinking - of a grocery bag. Those cloth ones that you can get everywhere for a dollar. First of all - it would probably cost a dollar, which everyone has.

Also, since it's a bag that is not expensive - they would buy some to hold all their awesome swag in.

I hope you understand what I'm talking about. It's a cloth type of bag. The Chicago Public Library has them for sale for a dollar - that type.
