The "Overdue" Hello~ Finally, I can explain who I am~

Well.. (does polite bow) Good evening.

My name is Dauminique, But please, you can use either Daumi or Kimi(kimi from my youtube account, Kimikopop!)
I am 19 years young but for ACen 2013, I will be 20. (yay~)

My first time ever attending ACen was last year and well, I gladly gobbled that up, lol. I actually.. decided that I was going last minute. (2 in a half weeks) Before the con. What made me jump on my feet was when I noticed LM.c Was going to be there. <333 (they are one of my favorite Japanese bands) so I like, Had to go! HAA~ (im such a fan girl, I know)

I really enjoyed 2012 and for that, I'll be going always, for now on.

I am African American, Indian, Chinese, Scottish and White and I happen to be very artistic.

I own two dogs named Stretch and Charley Brown and their like.. really important to me.. lol.

(I swear, I'm trying to make this sound super cool.. but I think I'm failing :< )

I'm originally from San Diego, CA but moved to IL for school.. My major is Japanese and I want to be a translator when I'm done with college! :3

Im very friendly! So PLEASE don't be shy to befriend me! I swear, I love meeting new people. Just go ahead and add my skype c: PLEASE DO IT! Lol

I've recently gotten into sewing and I'm really excited to already be working on my cosplay outfits. I have so many ideas.. but I have to quickly narrow it down to just 3.. including 1 extra for the soap bubble rave <33 . But yes, I'm going all out so I really, reallyyyy hope their will be a lot of cosplayers this year. And Not those last minute cosplay ideas either Lol.
(Last year I saw a paper link :P) Lol

Hm... I'm like stalking the ACen page so I can quickly buy my ticket. Lol. So.. September 1st HURRY UP NAO!

Welcome (late) to the forums (nobody is ever here but the lurkers.) If you have questions (or too many so we can bite your head,) let us know (or email people constantly about it.)

Also plan ahead and create a budget this time!
ACen 2013 Cosplay:
Hero from SMT: DS2, Emmet/Kudari from Pokemon Black and White, Roppi Izaya from Durarara, Hitoshura human form from SMT.

All the random avatars this time are from LJ and I don't own any of them. Some of the avatars are credit to aristocracy, Taku ♫ arthursandwich, noxjustxnoin, imperial-code, dojicons, narrante, dino-cookie, shiroyuki_kun, takerzmuse, and ushitora_icons at LJ. I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE ICONS.


Currently into and playing: All Megaten games, Blazblue series, and P4MU. Waiting for: Pokemon BW2 and BB3.

I swear there are more than only lurkers.... such as a newbie myself or sage yourself.

Holy mother of gawwwd, 4 costumes? I am only planning to have one mask and some gun, swords, katana and or axe to go with it...

I can't sew so.... yeah... mask is the only option...

Welcome to the forums! ^.^

If you'd like to meet cosplayers at ACen, a good way to do that is to check out the cosplay gatherings/photoshoots. They are listed in the programming guide as well as online. A lot of us plan our cosplays well ahead of time... we just happen to have a lot of procrastination in our ranks. :P

4.... i'd faint from the time and cost to make them.....

the cosplays I want to do are usually armor or uniforms... so... yeah... i don't know how to make either

I suppose I might cosplay as a cross dressing yukiatsu in akumetsu mask? I don't know :o... so tempting...

and I do think you will get to see me... akumetsu mask is distinctive...

I am planning to wear it for all my cons from now on once I get the mask. Wear other charcters' clothings and wear this mask :D...

Lol Ah I know!! My friend I went with totally fluked me.. I was a magnet Luka.. but.. I was Luka for the wrong day.. and missed the whole meet up thing e-e so I was like *flips desk* IM DONE! but this year, will be much much better. considering ill be having a hotel and not having to worry about people so much vs myself, I should be good c:

My dogs are rather wonky!
Stretch is a Pit bull mixed.
Charley Brown is a terrier, Chihuahua and Dachshund Hound.

Okay, that mask, looks so amazing o 3o.... AND YEAH! it would be pretty easy to find you with that thing on, and omg.. my list keeps changing.. :< so I never know what My full.. complete list of cosplay is going to be LOL. I DONT KNOW D: its like bothering me, but I guess Ill be working on it soon. o; Ahh! I want to work on making weapons and armor.. if the person I decide to cosplay as, has those things.. I wanted to do an Axel.. but oh fuu.. :< Im worried. lol

This guy: Angelsrflamabl makes them :D
would be awesome if there is an akumetsu meetup... bunch of terrorists...

Just cosplay something that doesn't seem like you're walking around in bra and panties.... Cover them skins and wear coats and/or jackets that looks amazing and you're good.

Well... I am cosplaying as Kid Icarus ! c: <333 so.. My skin will be covered.. c; and omg.. that's major skill ! o; I might look into that o;

My overdue response. Lol work is okay. Lol im in the process of getting a new job. (Lol economy) im at work now lol And glad you are enjoying it. I miss the old days. You really would have loved it then lol *strokes long gray beard and casts Fire.*
