Well needless to say I have money being saved up for ACen '13. Already know my cosplays but I'm still stuck on the note of what will I do for a ride? My parents aren't to keen on giving me a ride, not sure what metra entails and there is no bus service around here. I also don't like the thought of getting a hotel if I'm only a half hour drive away.

Already planning to carpool and find roommates here too.... now... if you live in chicago I might be able to help...

I cannot offer rides for anyone(sorry), but I can help you figure out what trains to take. =]
I'm very familiar with Metra and CTA(including buses)
