I see a lot of suggestions for bands but not a lot of suggestions for guests. I'd love to meet her. She's done so many animes. Code Geass, .hack/sign and probably most notably Ghost in the Shell. I've heard she's a lot of fun at conventions. So how about it ACen? Bring the Major here please?

I would be amazing if Mary Elizabeth McGlynn came to ACen. It would not only make my life but also a lot of other fasn as well. She is also in Eureka Seven as Meisha, Fushigi Yuugi as Nuriko and of course like magishine said.....

She also did the songs for Silent Hill. The actual songs (Room of Angel, Acceptance, Hell Frozen Rain, etc.) I would LOVE to see her at ACen, and I know some of my friends would Love it if she came as well.

Gonna have to 7th this suggestion. She's a voice actress in some VERY popular anime and would fit in perfectly with the ACen scene.
Not to sound like a parrot, but since I feel it'd be redudant to make its own topic, I'll just semi-repeat what I said in the Akira Yamaoka thread. It would be awesome if ACen could get them to do a guest panel together considering there seems to be both a push in the forums, judging by the responses, and that the two have collaborated on Silent Hill music in the past.

Her singing is so amazing. I just love how her voice sounds, and she makes it seem so effortless. I have loved every character she has dubbed, and I can always "tell" who is who. Like 'Oh, that's her Motoko voice," or "Oh, that's Nuriko" kinda thing.

I really hope she/Richard Epcar/Ellyn Stern/Crispin Freeman or any one of them can come this year. I would love love love to meet all of them, especially Mary. I'm really really hoping so, that's why I'm itching for the guest list to come out XD! I just want to know if Mary will be attending!!!!

Once upon a time, I was signed up to sing Real Folk Blues in the karaoke room (back when we had a consuite) and the dude running the room called me over. He apologized and explained that Mary Elizabeth McGlynn wanted to sing my song. Somehow I was okay with that. She really has a lovely voice.

Man I really hope she comes this year, next year or whatever year. That would be quite nice. She has not been to ACen in quite a while so I think she'd be a huge addition. I would love to hear her thoughts about the new Ghost in the Shell: ARISE for sure!
