Megumi Hayashibara, famous voice actress who had a huge part in voice acting for anime during the 90's. Many will remember her as the voice for Lina Inverse from Slayers, Rei Ayanami from Evangelion, Ranma Saotome from Ranma 1/2 and Pai from 3x3 Eyes.

She's got more VA roles on her resume than even the most popular VA's of today can boast. I'll just leave a link to her AnimeNewsNetwork profile below and you can take a look yourself.

Since she isn't as active as she used to be I figured it might be prime time to maybe see about getting her to show up to an american convention!

I will be content for her to just give a panel. Despite me being a big fan of her songs, but Megumi is also known for being quite reluctant to do solo singing performance since she have mentioned many times in the past she doesn't really have the stamina to do live performance. Considering her relatively passive attitude of seiyu singer, it might be wiser just focus on her voice acting career.

Oh my gosh I would be so excited to see her. Lina was one of the coolest characters I ever saw when I first got into anime, and I would love to hear her thoughts of the recent state of anime actors.

Was in the car and "Give a Reason" played on my playlist. Oh god, I love her singing voice.

Really hope to one day see her in person.

I used to get excited for ACen guests, then they started only inviting fashion people from Japan instead of people actually involved in the anime and manga business.

BRING BACK NAMES IN THE ANIME AND MANGA BUSINESS!!

Megumi Hayashibara would be a most excellent step in the right direction <3
