Lo and behold, it morphs into a bow-styled storm and hits central and southern ohio like a steam locomotive. It's almost like when the winds from Hurricane Ike came and tore through the state.
Both of those instances, I just happened to be staying in Cincinnati, Ohio for work-related activities. Both times, hotel lost its power.
In this case, my hotel lost power 15 minutes after I arrived. I got to see it barrel in from my view on the 11th floor window. Even this morning the hotel still had no power and was relying on glowsticks for barely any lighting.
