I couldn't find the previous topic i had made tell you all that we will be bringing back the homestuck panel again,last year was a little hectic and im sorry for those that could not get in but i appreciate the massive turn that we got.With that being said I would like to inform you all about some of the changes we have in mind for next year and please comment on anything that we can do to help improve our panel and make it more enjoyable for you all.

-Homestuck 18+ panel
-the regular PG-13/general audience panel
-ask the kids (alpha and beta kids only)
-ask the trolls (obviously the trolls and maybe a few side characters)

***KEEP IN MIND THAT THESE ARE JUST IDEAS AT THE MOMENT AND WE ARE ONLY TRYING TO DO A MAX OF TWO PANELS***

I think having a general one and a 18+ one would be great. More chances for people to come, and then people wouldn't have to worry too too much with some... things... as long as people are cool with ships and such.

I think keeping the kids and trolls together is better because there can be tons of lovely interactions there. The Alpha/beta would be interesting, especially since we now know a lot more about the Alphas than was available at ACen and Alpha/Beta might have interactions by next year that would be fun to see.

Maybe we can try and get a panel with both alphas and betas as well as the trolls

Bringing in characters like the Alpha kids would be cool. You don't see them too often in panels, of course theres the issue with space. That would be about 20 characters all together. Ahaha, Imagine a few pre-scratch trolls. Maybe a kids panel, and a troll panel?... Or a kid panel, and another panel with the Beta kids and the trolls?...

I'm all for a Homestuck panel and I know my sister would be happy to audition as Roxy.

Only problem is, it seems a lot of cons are cracking down on non-anime/manga/japan culture related panels. I went to Otakon and had my hopes dashed at having a homestuck panel, but instead there was like, 5-6 photoshoots and draw meets, so it kind of made up for itself.

None-the-less, I really hope ACen will allow at least ONE homestuck panel, cause I'm dying to go to one! I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for sure.

ACen does allow a -handful- of Webcomic and Video game panels. We don't allow many, but we do plan on approving at least 1 of the Homestuck applications that we received. We do not allow non-anime, American cartoons, American Comics, etc panels though unless it is strongly based on Anime or Japanese Culture (which isn't common)

Well, seeing that at least one will be approved, if it only ties down to a single panel... Ehh, I believe the a good choice would be a panel with the Beta Kids and Main Trolls, and adding in the Alpha Kids isn't too much... ALthough a few "guests" would spark up some entertainment into a panel. o ^ o ;;
