Pokemon BW 2 is still going to be playable on my DSi XL, so until a game comes out that I really want to spend a lot of time on for the 3DS I won't be getting one.

That's how I prioritize; my Pokemon are of the utmost importance.

Maybe if we stopped buying the crap nintendo keeps shelling out they might do something different. The 3ds is already bigger then the DS. Why do they need a "XL"? I'm just waiting til nintendo decides to jump into the ipad market.

no it not, i own a DS lite and a 3DS and put them together it a same size. and the 3DS is still selling mush mush mush better then the vita. also sony don't release pointless handhelds? remember the PSP GO.

I own a 3DS and don't really need a new one, haha. For others who haven't bought a 3DS yet, I guess it's alright. The only thing I like about this new model really is the larger screen. Other than that, the current 3DS is already pretty large, so I couldn't imagine wanting a larger size portable. Also no second joystick added? Are you serious bro?!?!?!

To each their own but I heavily disagree. Kid Icarus Uprising, Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 (although I'll admit if you own other Mario Karts you don't have to race out and get it), Resident Evil Revelations, and I agree with Visadin about Pushmo.

I still don't get the complant about the size being bigger then the ds, the normal 3DS. maybe it just look bigger in photos. i own both a ds lite and a 3DS and there even in size. the styles may make it look bigger since there is a ton more going on then the lite. maybe Dark is talking about a DSI which i never own, but i don't know. if he is talking about the phat then he is being a goose.

I've been holding off with 3DS so far. Right now I have enough portable games and systems to last years. That includes at least a dozen quality games for my original DS, PSP, and (slightly damaged) iPod Touch. So if there comes a time in which I have quite a bit of cash and interest in another portable console, then maybe I'll get the upcoming 3DS XL, if just because it will have a better battery and memory card.

I never said anything about sony. I have a PSP but I know in no way can they are even close to nintendo. I was saying that why doesn't nintendo just make a their own ipad? Bet they would still make money.

I'm buying it for Overclock Desu 1 and Harvest moon 3DS as well as Rune factory 4.

I was expecting it but it's too soon for me.

I meant it as more of a personal thing for me. I'm sure I would enjoy a couple of those games, but nothing to make me want to spend the money for a system to play them. I like to have at least one must own game if I'm going to spend money on a new system. Something that almost on its own justifies the cost.

I feel the same way, but it's sort of depressing that most of my favorite titles, including Pokemon, are going towards a new system so soon. That's the only reason why I'm buying a 3DS XL; even the new Persona 5 game is being hinted for that system as well, along with several other Atlus games. Me being an Atlus fans makes this a big blow to me.

The New Smash brothers is going to be for the Wii U :/ -Sighs-

Heard rumors it's going to be on 3DS, PS3 and maybe 360, or some other version of the SMT series DX Outside of Soul Hackers.

i can give some feedback on that also necro!

it something we have to talk about in sadness but E3 is sadly becoming more of a show to impress the american media and hype. so something like COD and casral style games will get more airtime then a quirky j-pop music game, atlas being the exaption since they make the hype themselfs.

maybe it diffent in TGS, i don't focus mush on that tradeshow as mush as something like E3, gamescon or pax.
