So ....Yeah I'm antsy about next year. Will anyone be doing cosplays from Neon Genesis Evangelion next year? Just thought I should post this out of curiosity. I'm not much of a leader so I might not run it..well Maybe but yeah. I will be Misato Katsuragi Next year.

heck yeah i went as shinji in his school uniform, last year from evangelion and i think i'll do it again only difference is i'll have a white polo on just like he wears one in the show i knew what shinji really looked like and did a great job as him. i couldn't find a white polo so i wore a button up white dress shirt and a black shirt under it along with black dress pants. i did pose as shinji very well though since i have autism. it was also my first cosplay i have ever done in my life and my first con as well. =D very very fun

I'm going to be Misato, and my friend is going with me as Ritsuko! It'll be awesome to see other Eva cosplayers for sure. You just never know how many there will be!

If I had enough skill to make a plugsuit I would absolutely love to do one of the new versions from the movies. But alas. If there's a photoshoot I will definitely be there to take photos!

Does anyone know what day the photo shoot will be on? If it was on a Friday then it would not work, some people have school to attend like myself. I would be at ACen right after school. Since I am going for all three days. Saturday would work perfectly because there would be more time and people would have gotten used to where everything is.

Hey I'm doing the same, what variation are you planning on doing? I'm doing his school uniform again =) I would love to do a plug suit someday but it probably will never happen, 1. They can make your body feel like a sauna depending on the temperature, 2. Going to the bathroom in one will be a complete nightmare. 3. They are expensive and very difficult to sew. And finally your patents would give you a strange look, my parents probably wouldn't mind If I cosplayed as shinji in his plug suit, but until that day comes, it will just remain a dream =)

Cool, I can't wait to see your plug suit. I can pull off shinji's personality so well, I don't even need to think about his signature phrase I mustn't run away I mustn't run away constantly. I'm actually autistic, not like majorly autistic, its very very very very very minor you can't even tell I'm autistic, in the past, I wasn't very social, I would usually talk about the same things constantly, but I have learned how to be more open to conversation, I have matured over the years and accomplished many things, I play water polo on a high school level, varsity level to exact. Im very excited and cannot wait to see all of you at the evangelion photo shoot =)

Saturday is perfect for many reasons, the first being there is no school on that day, two being the day will be longer and we'll have more time to have fun at ACen, and three, we would now know where everything is now, a tip I should suggest is find a Eva cosplayer in your vicinity, they might be looking for the photo shoot too. I found an Eva cosplayer and she was a life saver, we were both waiting for the Eva photo shoot to start, we have now become pen pals almost on deviant art, same goes for everyone else that attended the photo shoot.
