Hello all, I haven't been here in years. But now I've got an idea for an event, and I am curious to see if cosplayers are interested in it.

I'd like to create an event where cosplayers can make videos of themselves performing skits while chroma keyed into a background of their choice. I've got all the necessary gear for this, and if it was done on Friday, the skits could be shown by Saturday afternoon.

Skits would be performed much as they are in the masquerade, but groups would have a 10-15 minute time period for multiple takes or cuts as needed. (Time may change depending on scheduling and number of participants.) Cosplayers could provide backgrounds, or choose from a few I'd prepare. Music would work as in the masquerade, and I could add the occasional flask or effect in post. (You'd need to plan this with me before hand.)

The con would need to provide a room of at least 30' x 30' with no pillars and a time for the videos to be shown. If people are interested in watching the skit taping live, then a much larger room would be needed.

This sounds really cool to me! I won't be at Acen next year due to a scheduling conflict, but if it's successful and you bring it back in 2014 I'd be there!
