I wanted to thank everyone who turned up at the ACEN 2012 photoshoot for the Digimon.
It was a lot better of a turn out than I thought we'd get and I am so happy it all
went well.
2012 I was Terriermon/TK along with a Lopmon beside me, however in 2013,
I am going to be running around as little TK from Digimon Adventures/season one.

So, anyone else planning on Digimon cosplays for next year? Or wanting to/debating on it?

Me and my girlfriend actually plan to have our Digimon cosplays done by the next time we do our Digimon panel, Geek-Kon. So we will definitely come to your photoshoot next year. I will be cosplaying Kiriha and she will be Nene. I saw the pictures from this year and it looked awesome!

Are the characters from after season four? My apologies-I've watched up to Season four as I've not had time to watch five or six yet.

I took a few photos of Guilmon this year, but unfortunately couldn't stay for the photoshoot as I had another one to attend to.
I LOVE Digimon though, and would be more than happy to be one of the photographers for this. Digimon beats all!

Last year worked out well with having at on Saturday at the Treepatch around 4 so depending on how things go, maybe we'll do it then again.

I could possibly commission you a Motimon plushie? It'd be lifesize-ish? Or at least a more realistic size then a Tentomon plushie would probably be. xD;
I'd have to estimate fabric costs and whatnot but that's always a possibility, if you're up for it.

My Tsunomon plush was fairly popular last year, for whatever reason. xD
(his face is a little crooked but he was done literally last minute. Like. When I was meeting up with someone at their house, we had to drive around the block a few times so it could get finished before I went inside. OTL But I've thought of better ways to go about the whole thing and it would be done a lot more efficiently and neatly in the future. I feel like I need to justify this because CRIES I'm a horrible perfectionist)
His body is made of fleece and his horn is vinyl.
And his face was hand-painted.
With a toothpick.
One dot at a time.

Oh, he also has a snap-shut pouch in the back for hiding things like my phone and wallet (and harmonica). It came in handy quite a lot.

I wonder how much of a challenge a Patamon would be... Hmmmm.... lol

On another note, I am making my own Digivice! I want to maybe comission one down the road, but so far, mine isn't turning out too badly.

I wouldn't think patamon would be too difficult! He'd probably be a little bigger than Tsunomon was but not too much. And wire could go in the wings so that you could pose them how you wanted.

I'm posting pictures maybe tomorrow! I still have to paint it, but it's almost dry. It's air-dry clay though, so yeah.

I would love to get a bigger Patamon than what I have. Like you know, Matt, how small Patamon is that I have. I'm even going to commission a friend to make TK's backpack for me.

So just a heads up, I sent in the confirmation for the photoshoot time; I think I suggested in the email
3 or 4 pm on Saturday at the Garden (since the Treepatch is apparently no longer a photoshoot spot??))

So as soon as I hear back from the Head, I'll let you know where it'll be

What type of shots should we get of people this year at the photoshoot? Any suggestions guys?

I went as a Digimon character (Hirokazu from Tamers) two years ago but when I went to the scheduled Digimon photoshoot, no one else was there. I figured that meant that Digimon cosplay was dead. Now I find this thread (one of the more active ones so far this year). What gives?

Might cosplay again this year, I guess I haven't decided yet.

I think what happened two years ago was that I had scheduled it to be at one place and then someone put in the book a different place, so I went to the wrong spot and ended up missing it. I do not recall if there were any digi cosplayers that year really at all.
But, last year was a pretty good turn out (even if it was only about a dozen cosplayers for pictures), and I hope this year will be just
as grand.

It would be great if you could join us.
