So is the plan to do it on Friday?(as per tradition?)
I only ask because if it's on Saturday it would bum be out if it conflicted with my Sailor Moon photoshoot.

Pokemon is pretty big, and last year it was Friday and Saturday. I'm thinking Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 2pm. I was thinking outside the exhibit hall near the escalator, where the Saturday pokemon photoshoot was last year, or the loading docks. Any votes for a particular space?

I'm now working on a lolita Tepig. I'm definitely bringing it to ACen. I have to wait until the photoshoot schedule come out to see if I'm coming to one or both shoots.

My friends Vote for the indoors, simply because if it were to rain or something we'd be safe in side/if its the convention center, as we are thinking unless were wrong, it could look really cool by the mirror whatnots...but again weather safety... :D

Friday 6pm and Saturday 2pm both at the loading docks across from the Hyatt! I can't wait to see all of the amazing cosplays.

I chose to not do it inside because picture always look better outside in the natural light. Later we can decide a rain back up plan.

Sounds good to me :) and you make a good point about the better lighting. I hadn't even thought of that """ usually I jump straight to "well if such and such happens, what would we do then?"

Really hope there is a gathering on Saturday too! Cause' my friend and I won't be there friday.

My vote is for some place easy to find! xD Like in the open. Last year I had to go to a k-on gathering in the Garden and I was lost forever because you couldn't see any of the girls. But that's just my lack of direction talking. :P


Seems a lot of eeveelutions will be there. YAY. I demand a shot of all of us! > 3 >;

Also in response to Kitty wolf, there's a small chance a friend of mine will be going as sylveon/ninfia. :3

My friends and I just tentatively decided on a Pokemon gijinka group. We've got a very random assortment of Snorlax, Meowth, Blastoise, as-yet-undecided, and Moltres. Should be interesting!

Hey all! My girlfriend and I are doing Pokemon cosplays this year -- she will be the new female lead from X and Y, and I am going as a Team Rocket grunt.
I'm really hoping for that Saturday meetup, as my gf and I may not be getting to con until around 6pm Friday (she's got graduate school crap).

Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, Leafeon... I think you're missing one, because I count seven. Also there's the new Eevee evolution, Sylveon. Good luck in completing your Eevee team though!

I have three friends going as Misty, May and Dawn. I'm not sure if they want to come to the meet up, but for sure as hell want them to. They're drop-dead gorgeous, emphasis on the drop-dead. :pp

...and no sooner did my group decide on Pokemon than we changed our minds on which Pokemon to bring. So, now our lineup is gijinkas of Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Missingno (if we can, uh, figure out how to work that in with the rest of our clothing theme) with a Professor Oak thrown in for good measure. We've started the fabric buying process, so we're pretty much settled on these now! XD

We're all really looking forward to the meetup; I can't wait to get pictures of everyone's awesome costumes!

No I will not cosplay as Sylveon. (I'm still try to get my zorroark cosplay together :blink:/>.)

Just ordered my wig! I've got the kimono done, hakama bought , bought the cloth to make the under kimono (hajuban) ,already owned the tabi socks/shoes. I bought to make a felt gloom plush. I feel like gloom is an essential prop for erika , right?

Depending on happenings I may or may not be able to end up attending ACen this year. This is just me, not my group and I hope to know by the end of April/early May but I may not know until a few days before ACen. :(

It's a very tiny felt gloom (can easily sit in one hand) , but she's almost done! I guess I could have just carried around a perfume bottle too XD
I love kimonos so I thought it would be fun to do her, plus she's my favorite gym leader of the original 8!
