I went to Anime World last year for one day (Sat) and had a blast. However, after staying my full weekend at ACEN, suddenly one day is not enough anymore. XD I must stay the whole weekend! Lol.

Anime Midwest is significantly cheaper for the full weekend compared to Anime World; however, I have never been to Anime Midwest, so I don't know where I would have more fun xD

For those of you who attended Anime Midwest last year, did you like it?

Ahh! Help me decide!

Decide on your masters, people, for you cannot serve both. Either be an anime con or be a 3-day frat party. (I'm Done with ACen.)

This.

Though I am involved with Anime Midwest, so I'm absolutely entirely biased, it was a blast last year :D

We have 1-2 more guests to announce at Anime Midwest, and the schedule will probably be up within a couple weeks. Also, no other convention has free ramen and soda all weekend! :D

* Free ramen, soda, and rice for all.
* Over 50 panels, workshops, and events.
* Over 13 guests, DJs, and performers.
* Rooms just $99/night.
* Formal Dance & Lessons
* Raves Both Nights

But we're all fans, so if you can support both, do! :)

Just go to both. I haven't been to Anime Midwest yet (this year will be my first) but it's so cheap for a con! And like they said, free food!
I'm definitely going to both xD

I'm planning on going one day at least to Anime Midwest. Would love to try and swing by Anime World, but I don't know. It all depends on work schedule and budget.

"pick up my free Mountain Dew" implies you only get one. There's unlimited free Mt. Dew.

(And Root Beer, Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Diet Pepsi...) I actually just ordered it all too this week. :D

Sorry for going off topic a little, though I suppose it's relevant. :D

OH DAAAAAANG it just got real here then eh? This is going to be great pop in like how many months? I'll be sure making it up at Anime Midwest?

That should be an easy decision for people deciding....free food at the con! (I actually like how you guys are doing that it provides some of us who are commuting or something with something to eat so we don't faint from hunger and low blood sugar levels. :3) Though Mtn dew causes a sugar crash but I won't get into that now. ;3

Here's a better answer: Wizard World! Stan Lee is going!!! LOL, sorry just messing around. Although Stan Lee at Wizard World among others is making me pass on Anime World due to money.

Well I've got Anime Midwest already having announced Jamie Marchi, Ian Sinclair, and Joel McDonald, and I had a blast interacting with all three of them at ACEN. Plus now I'm reading that Monica Rial will be at Anime World, and I don't think I need to explain that one. So basically, yeah, I'm going to both. I've already registered to Anime Midwest, and will now do the same for Anime World. ^_^

I think I'm only gonna to Anime World if their guest list as at least one person or band that I HAVE to meet.
