My sis and I have two sets of new costumes planned for next year, but only one is likely to make it to ACen. Luke and Beginner from Mon Colle Knights are already in the works, hopefully with my friend as Lambda (kudos to anyone that remembers this show, lol). Other than that, we haven't decided which old cosplay(s) to bring just yet.

There is a slight possibility of Lina and Xellos from Slayers Next as well. I'm making Lina for a different convention, so she'll be done, but I probably won't have time to fit Xellos in as well. We'll see!

Only one im decided on for sure is Itachi Uchiha, my friend is going to be cosplaying Pein and hopeuflly will also be with a Konan as well not sure who else. other ones im stil not sure on due to time restraints that weekend and unsure if ill be there on friday or not are either Claude Faustus again, or ill debut with Ulquiorra Cifer.

After much deliberation, I changed my list.

I decided to bring back Byakuya for many reasons, among them that my Rukia's coming back AND a good friend of mine is seriously considering going as Zommari LeRoux. *fingers and toes crossed* I also decided to double the Bleach and go as Nel Tu in her former Espada form. I'm looking at a pic of it now and that jacket's going to be killer...

The other two are an homage to 'classics', since this'll be ACen's Sweet 16. For Sakura, specifically it'll be the outfit on the cover of Volume 2 of "Master of the Clow" (that red/pink, genie-ish, star-spangled number), and I have a friend planning to go as a Fem Lolita Kero-chan. (I did Sakura before, along with her Star Wand, but it was trashed, and I may be able to make Version 2.0 light up!) The only original plan I stuck to was my Boogiepop, since I've been waiting to do that one for WAY too long.

Bad news. Well, more so news I was trying to be optimistic about but it happened anyway. Going by my progress in the gym so far, I'm gaining good muscle but not enough to do Violent Ken justice in time for ACen. So, I may have to scrap him until ACen 2014 and fall back on Adon. u_u

If my tablemate backs out of/doesn't have time for Lambda, I'll likely bring an old costume instead and save Luke for when my sister/Beginner will be there. It is my plan to have Lina finished by ACen, but it's possible I don't NEED her until June, and I'm not going to do a rush job just to have her done for ACen if that is the case.

So, I've finally decided to do the same cosplay I'll be doing for C2E2: The Joker from Batman R.I.P. It's also a good financial move on my part to save for another important con. I hope I'll be able to do him justice. My biggest problem is finding out exactly how to do the body paint correctly. :/

I would just like to say, I LOVE seeing all the anime cosplays listed.

Not that I have anything against non-anime cosplays, to each his own. I plan on wearing a skanky 10th Doctor Thursday night myself, but I love it when people keep the anime in Anime convention.

I'm thinking about cosplaying as Pandora from DC Comics's New 52 since I've been really into those comics recently and I'm just not comfortable with spandex-y superhero outfits.

Two things concerning me are (1) I don't know if I can sew a trench coat or find a red one already done and (2) I don't think a lot of people would recognize the character.

As my tablemate won't have time to be my Lambda, I'll be bringing Loki (Mythical Detective Loki, not Thor/Avengers Loki XD) on Sunday instead. I've never actually worn it to a con before as it was originally made for my sis, so I'm excited I get the chance to!
