If you've already done an interview with a department, do you need to fill out this as well?

If I can improve my health this year I'm going to see what I can do. I couldn't do it this year because of health concerns so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Are there floor generals/coordinators that are part of staff..or I imagine that is tied into each specific department.

It is, to an extent. Each dept. has a structure with one chief, a few assistants depending on size, and then regular staff. Some like IRT have more layers of structure. What are you looking to try and do? :)

I would love to volunteer for registration and whatnot just don't know where I would be needed and I don't have reliable transportation to get me around to places. *sigh*

Hi Alchemist,

We'll have a link to a registration-specific application up at some point, but still fill out the regular application that has been posted. Depending on your transportation issues, (at least when it comes to registration) we may be able to work around those. If anything, it doesn't hurt to try and apply and you never know what might happen :thumbup:

Are you still accepting applications for staff? My department at work has finished restructuring and playing with our hours so I can honestly speak to my availability. I didn't want to commit and then find out I was sent to the night shift.

Yes nike13. The form is to find out who is interested in staffing and the actual staffing won't take part until after the final meet up of the staff. If you are interested please fill out the form so we know of your interest. :)

I filled out the application a couple of months ago, when should I hear back? I really would like to staff/volunteer, but I do need to know whether or not I'm accepted as staff/volunteer. Otherwise, I would need to make preparations/plans ticket and roomwise. I look forward to hearing back from ACen

Hey there, Sisterdischord!

Been off for 2 seasons due to some very rough family issues. I'm looking to return this year, to either Art & Production staff as a blogger or work with the Special Needs & Disabilities unit. My last year at ACen, which was 2010, I was made aware of their department. They looked like they could use a little help, in that area and I have loads of experience. I'm also open to working elsewhere, as well. Let me know, your thoughts, on how I could be useful.

Also, if I am put back into play, will I be open to be comped for room/board/etc.?

Wow, I posted here. And I never answered back.

In all honesty, I've always had that urge to help in some way to promote the con and to promote anime in general. But being in ohio makes it a little harder to do anything.
