IRT, you guys were AWESOME this year!

Elevators:
OMG, elevators were fantastic this year! There were a select few IRT staff who manned elevators that just seriously made the experience great and kept the elevators in working order! Please keep this system going... forever. I know it's got to be a terrible position. I would hate to be in a cramped smelly elevator for hours on end. There's a few elevator staffers I would love to recognize once I remember what their callsigns were. I think I know who a certain person was, but I'm double checking.
Fire Alarm:
I was in the Hyatt when the Fire alarm happened. Obviously in a situation like that there will be a sense of urgency with staff and attendees alike. The whole situation actually felt like it was under control. I was really blown away how well the situation was handled and a huge thanks to IRT for that.
General Interactions:
I had a few IRT members ask me to not stand in front of doors, asked me to not be a certain area, stay on the sidewalk etc. I only once experienced someone being slightly rude to me. Everyone was super courteous and professional.
I hope this was similar to everyone's experience and it was far different from my experiences with IRT in the past. Great job guys!

Oh yeah, and as a vet, I really want to return to the team next year. I really miss my IRT family, even though I saw a lot of new faces. So expect to see IRT callsign Pyro back in Acen 2013!

Also, hugs and kisses to the IRT that I worked with during the evacuation! I was the short gal in a black bomber jacket & Jayne hat not too far from the main programming doors. I didn't get to see call signs in the chaos, but y'all were great!
THANK YOU ALL!

I don't know who you are, but you pulled me out of a group of guys who were getting waaaay too gropey and I was far too drunk to do much about it. I think you were blonde, or perhaps a ginger. And I'm about 98% certain that your name began with a "K". Presumably you also have some sort of damsel in distress radar; I have no idea how you would have found me otherwise.
Anyways, just so you know, I did get back to my room alright. And then regaled my friends with the story.
You are a gentleman and a scholar, sir. You have a standing offer for me to buy you a drink/coffee next year. Or sooner, if you live in Chicago. Thanks for the rescue.

Hazzah! I'm glad to know you made it back! I did help some lovely lady escape from some guys, and if it was you, you are welcome! But if it wasn't for you(potentially) grabbing my hands and in clear need of help, I never would have known...
but the important thing is that you were safe and sound and I'm very glad I happened to be in the area (and the kiss on the cheek was a plus too...hahaha)

Saturday night also earned major respect and kudos and gold stars and candy all around. And not just because you handled a situation that could have gone abysmally, really really well. I'll admit, I got a little scared when people started chanting "this is Bull Sh**" outside the hotel (there were little kids in that crowd people o_o). But not only did you guys manage to maintain control in the chaos, you did so in a calm and responsible way. You told us to be quiet as nicely as you could, given the circumstances (I think I may have heard a few shut ups, but I'm not sure if they were from the normal attendees or from IRT, but if they were from IRT they were justified), you told us WHY we needed to be quiet (so you could hear your radios and know what was going on so you could tell US what was going on). I really appreciated that, and was over all super impressed with the whole situation.
My only real suggestion would be, if you guys can, maybe invest in a few megaphones for line control so we can hear you guys when you have something that important (or something along the lines of "this event is starting late because...") to say.

If he was blond with short hair and a name that began with "K" it may have been Keeper ... if he was a afro ginger my guess is Marks
