So what do you think the attendance is for 2012?

2011 was 23,183 and that was the biggest jump in attendance in acen history. It grew by 3672 more people than in 2010, that jump alone is huge. To put it into prospective Anime Milwaukee's attendance for 2012 was 3,492 total!

My guess though because of the timing in April is going to be 24,765.

As much as I'd like to assume that ACen got another boost in attendance figures, I have to say that things seemed a bit less crowded than last year. Combined with the difficulties surrounding traveling to a convention near the end of a college term, and I'd have to peg this year's attendance at around 2010 levels (20,000ish).

Of course, if this data is determined solely by badge sales (as it probably is) then I'd tack on an extra 1000 to account for those who ultimately couldn't make it.

Nanashigurl01 That is the number of accounts in our system, it is not the attendance number. It includes those from last year who may not be returning. The number will be released soon.
