I could only find last year's thread, so here goes.


Kollsion Con 2012
November 23-25
Pheasant Run Resort
4051 East Main Street
St. Charles, Illinois 60174

Registration is open, Room rates are up (and cheap!), Artist Alley is sold out, and it looks like they already have some guests announced.


Last year was awesome and soo much fun. This year I'm off of school because of the Holiday, so I will definitely be there!

What about you? Who else is going?

Friday: Atelier Pierrot Fashion Show Model (8am-2pm), Levy [Fairy Tail] (2pm-5pm), Vaporeon [Pokemon] (5pm-end)
Saturday: Mint Neko Fashion Show Model (8am-2pm), Vaporeon [Pokemon] (2pm-end)
Sunday: Levy [Fairy Tail] (all day)
Possibly Houndoom [Pokemon] part of Sunday.

I will try to be there, it depend on what goes on with my cash, i want a hotel for sure, it sucks that it on thanksgiving weekend so i won't be there for thursday fun, but i be there on the weekend where the suckers are getting mudered by fat chicks at walmart.

Depends if I have to work since it's one Black Friday which I have to work :P since i'm in retail.....Maybe Saturday depending on school too. Stinks it's right after the Holiday :/. But I would love to make it, it was SO AWESOME last year and I really had an amazing time. ^_^

I'm such a sad panda, I had SO much fun at KollisionCon but I'm already planning to attend Chicago TARDIS (SYLVESTER MCCOY!) so I won't make it this year :( :( I hope next year they go back to the weekend before.

I think I'll at least make an appearance on one or more days, but really guys? Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend? I understand you couldn't get the original weekend but I really wish you could have made it earlier or make it in December, but this is a bad weekend choice. Hopefully like everyone else says next year you'll have a better weekend. I know I'll be working Black Friday, hopefully morning time, but we'll just have to see. Saturday, I know they won't let me request off but hopefully I can come night time.

I loved Kollision last year so that's why I'm so disappointed that it's on such a busy weekend this year. Oh well, I'll try to make the most out of it! :D

Do you guys know where the artist alley will be located? I live near that hotel and was going to check it out before the con, since it will be my first time going there.

The artist alley is located in the St. Charles Ballroom. It's on the side of the resort right by the Megacenter. Also, located in the St. Charles Ballroom is the Exhibit Hall, Gaming (Sectioned off by an air wall), The Enthusisasts photobooth (also functioning as Masquerade registration) and Guest tables/autographs. Directly outside of the St. Charles Ballroom is registration.

You seem quite knowledgeable. Any idea when programming schedule is supposed to be up. They said they'd put it up on Wednesday at the latest, and there's still no schedule...

Thanks. I saw it on FB, but thanks also for posting it here, since they haven't posted on their site yet.

Honestly, I dunno. There's a frighteningly small amount of panels and it all looks very underwhelming. :/ Kind of disappointing. I really hope there are a lot of people going next weekend because otherwise, I'm going to be bored out of my gourd.
