Wearing the same cosplay for two consecutive days Is it a do or a don't?

Ok, this is my first year cosplaying (in the 5 years I've been going) and I was wondering-- as the title suggests -- whether it is acceptable to wear the same cosplay for multiple days. While this may seem like a ridiculous question to some, I just don't want to be scoffed at for something that I didn't know about.
Is it same rule that applies for wearing the same outfit to work/school for multiple days? Just don't do it?
Thanks for the help guys!

personally i think if the costume can air out really well and you dont sweat into it at least a whole lot then i think it would be fine. just keep it clean and someplace where itll air out when you dotn wear it. mine is a japanese uniform that can get a little hot and sweat my back with my bag on. however i wear a decent t-shirt underneath so it doesnt effect the uniform. after i wear it i let it hang get a breeze through it or iron and steam through it a bit.
if its a skin tight body suit and you raelly sweat into that thing then it might be another story XD LOL

There's some good suggestions in there. There is nothing wrong with wearing the same cosplay more than once. Just shower, hang up the outfit and febreze it, wear good deodorant/antiperspirant.. Um.. Also one of those tide instant stain remover pens are also nice to carry around.

Plenty of people only take one costume and wear it every day. A lot of times one costume is all someone has time/money for and it seems a waste to wear it only one day of the three day event you made it for.
As long as you're bathing and being hygienic. Basically the same rule for wearing pants or a cardigan several days in a row.

A note on Febreeze, though: If you're going to use it, use it LIGHTLY, or you risk choking everyone around you with a cloud of hideous chemical flower-smell...and if your costume's really rank, just put on some normal clothes! Few things are worse than stinky costume smell + overpowering febreeze smell mixed together. Yuck!

And the only reason this is an issue is that I can't afford to make more than one cosplay, and I worked really hard on this one. (So needless to say, I'm really proud of it.)
Anyway! Thanks for the responses!!!

The first year I cosplayed, 2009, my friends and I did a steampunk group, full duck canvas and tweed materials for costumes all made by hand -- and it was in the mid 80s if I remember correctly. Just plan accordingly, with lots of fabreeze, ironing, a box full of needle and thread and buttons in case of a malfunction or rip, and maybe some good perfume/cologne!
