Anime Hell

This may be in the wrong place, so feel free to move if it is.

Is Anime Hell happening this year? when and where, if it is? One of my friends went last year and really wants to know if it's happening this year or not, so any information you could give me would be great. Thanks in advance.

You'll want to ask in Main Programming, who puts it on. As far as I know, it is.
There is a slight flaw in my character.

...And I can now tell you that Anime Hell is scheduled for Main Programming at 10 PM, Friday.
There is a slight flaw in my character.

it's happening Friday at 10pm as per usual. However i believe it's being moved into the Rosemont Ballroom instead of the Grand Ballroom, though it's still being done under the auspices of 'Main Programming'.

The new location is definitely a surprise as from what I've seen in the past Anime Hell fills the Grand Ballroom every year. And from what the Map looks like, the Rosemont Ballroom appears to be about 1/2 the size of the Grand Ballroom. Unless there's a different Rosemont Ballroom somewhere else. Not to mention how any kind of line will work at the new location without blocking foot traffic.

The reason they gave me wasn't ability to fill the room, but being able to manage the line for the other events. meaning that hell has a huge line, but once the event starts the line isn't an ongoing issue. like maybe more room in hallways away from the lobby that have more lingering/loitering? dunno.
