I'm just excited to be going again after missing last year and not being sure if my sis would ever be able to attend with me again. Being in the AA and working pretty much all weekend limits what I actually do and see there, but I always look forward to browsing the AA, meeting other artists and of course attendees, looking at all the cosplayers, and seeing what crazy commission someone's going to come up with this time. But I'll also be having my first taste of a real Chicago style pizza while hanging out with friends and a few new faces, so that's pretty exciting for me, haha.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I don't know that I have a say as someone else is picking it up. XD I'm not sure where they usually go, but I'm assuming they'll get it from their usual place which may or may not be Giordano's.

I love just walking around Artist Alley/Dealer's Room looking at stuff ^^ There's always someone who puts a fun twist on things and comes up with something you never would have imagined and just HAVE to have haha.

Photoshoots are the highlights of Acen to me, so I'll be hitting up a bunch of those as well and meeting others from my fandoms

The guest list this year is awesome and I can't wait to meet a few people for the first time and say hello to ones I've met before!

And finally, my bff got accepted in the Sixh fashion show and I got accepted for Hangry&Angry. So our Friday and Saturday mornings will be filled with those and should be a blast!

I can totally wait another week... With the completion of my complicated prop, rather than sitting back and relaxing, I decided to make another part of my new costume. The cloak's not really necessary for Lunatic, since first thing he generally does when he shows up is set it on fire until it's burned away, but...

Lol, I'm not really doing anything really big myself, just having informal hey-let's-draw-together sessions, so my prep work is easy. I'm still gonna look around for a black jacket for my HeroTV staff coat, but...if I don't find a cheap one in time, I won't cry over it. It's not necessary for my con experience.

If you come to the Saturday night photoshoot, you'll definitely see him. (I will also no doubt wander the AA at some point in SOME costume, since my girlfriend/Barnaby is all about the AA...) Thinking about seeing if I can get into the masq as a walk-on if I get everything working, too.

And if I see a HeroTV jacket, I will definitely say hi! (Not 'ho', fingers, because that would be very rude to yell at strangers. XD)

I look forward to hanging out with the friends I don't get to see all that often and meeting new ones as well . It's hard to believe this is already my fifth ACen. My first was in 2008 when I was 17 and a senior in high school and now I'm 21 and a few weeks away from graduating college. It's amazing how many things have changed for me during that time, but ACen has always been the weekend I look forward to most every year and I can still say that this year is no different. I'm excited for... Well uhm... This is my first year not commuting from a home to acen, staying at the cheap motel 6 lol I have a boyfriend this year so I'm excited that he's excited as it's his first year, I have spending money for acen this year so I'm excited to spend it. And just the overall acen experience again will be great, especially since I won't be lost and wandering So woot!

TWO DAYS WHOOOOO. My schedules are almost set to go, just gotta give them one more glance. I'm totally up for changes, though...;D

I'm painting my t-shirts today, one Tiger & Bunny shirt, and one for PinStripes Studios, my art studio. We also have to gather up materials for our drawing sessions (paper, pencils, etc). Then we have to make a sign for it. I'm dying my hair tomorrow (I've been dyeing it red lately but it needs a touch-up, lol), I have to put some oil in my car, stuff some water bottles in the freezer, make sandwiches on Friday morning, and I'll be set for the first day!

I should be packing for tomorrow afternoon's departure. Instead I just made a 20-minutes-from-opening-spare-fabric-bin-to-completion set of clip-on tiger ears. Am now trying to convince self that it would NOT be an excellent idea to add a red bow to one and go as Hello Kotetsu.
