I would think this time would actually be better for most people. As our biggest complaint every year for Acen is it falls on someones Finals week. Late April is somewhat before the vast majority of peoples Finals weeks.

The only other concern is the fact that theres a large amount of cons in the general area over this 4 week window that may affect peoples finances depending on which con they value more. Kitsune Kon was 2 weeks ago, Acen is end of the month, and NoBrand is the weekend after that. C2E2 was this weekend as well, of course. Anime St. Louis the weekend after this.

With the large amount of other cons, and at least for my school district, there's still a lot of school left this year, instead of like last year, which was about the last week of school, and yes finals were a bit of an issue. But at least around here, we get out early from school on the days of finals, so we could just get there on Friday after school. I know a lot of people like going Thursday, but not an option for some. ANYWHOOO I say 25359
