I've looked around on the site, but I can't seem to find anything about an age limit, or a need for a parental consent form, as I've seen at other conventions.
I'm 17, so not legally an adult yet. If I need a parental consent form, I'd really need to get it before the convention.

EDIT: ...Do you mean to be allowed to buy a badge or something? The convention is all ages, but it's really only those under 12/14 that need their parents with them (policy-wise, at least; follow your parent's advice/rules on safety/supervision, though!). The only real things you won't be allowed to do is enter an 18+/Adults Only panel or event, or buy swords, weaponry, or adult material in the vendor's hall, but that really applies to all minors, regardless of parental presence or lack thereof...

It really depends on what state the con is in if they do forms or not. Acen does not require forms.

There are cons who do have parental consent forms for those who are under the age of 18 so they can attend. Such as YoumaCon.

do you need state I.D because i remember once we went there, she asked for state I.D an I'm not over the age of sixteen nor am i sixteen, she still gave me the badge though, i just needed to know, because i thought they were just being generous and giving us a free pass due to the fact that i told them my Guardian who brought us here was my grandma who was in the hotel room. And it wasn't any hotel EXACTLY next to the convention.

You need and ID, it doesnt have to be a state ID, it can be a school ID.

one more thing...if you are under sixteen, let's say around 13 through 15 y.o, and you don't have a guardian with you,will they ask for an adult's I.D too, because they also didn't say anything about that. they only mentioned I.D, not "adult" I.D. does it matter

Note that getting into adult programming, however, does require a state-issued photo ID. School IDs don't constitute proof of age for getting into, say, the Hentai room.

@Josh, don't you guys also sometimes check at the raves after a certain time in regards to rosemont curfew?

Regarding consent forms, makes sense for some cons, I really can't ever see ACen needing one though. Humm now I could see such a thing being useful for a school if one was needed to get the day off though.
