I thought I'd repost the meeting times from Den of Angels incase anyone on this forum hasn't seen it:

Thursday: 7PM (By the couches in the Hyatt)
Friday: 12PM (Lower Dome) 6:30PM (Tree Patch), 8 PM (Lower Dome)
Saturday: 10:30am(Lower Dome), 1 PM (Lower Dome), 9PM(Lower Dome)
Sunday: 1 PM (Lower Dome)

Since it IS too late to pick your times, I will have to say your Friday and Saturday meets will have to be cut down from 6 to 2. Thursday and Sunday are fine, but the others already have people occupying those spaces.

I have this group down for:
Friday: Tree Patch, 6:30 - 7:00 pm
Saturday: Lower Dome, 10:30 am - 11:00 am

Its awesome that you all at acen planned those meet times for everybody so thank you...but is the tree patch really a good place for people with dolls to really meet? I think that is what everybody on Den of angel's planning thread was trying to really work around. I know I speak from my own opinion that I would not be comfortable sitting in a tree patch with my doll. And only a half hour for meeting? The doll meet up people are not the same as cosplays, we don't normally gather, snap pictures and disperse.

Not a staff, but meet up deadlines have passed. The places picked out by OP was already assigned at the time and these are the available times/spots.

Oh I know this, and I am not saying that they need to change anything because somebody else came up with some other times to add to what they had already assigned. I was just making the point that the tree patch is not really a good place for a doll meet,it make me think/wonder how the time came to be and just who chose that space.

Yeah but you shouldn't expose resin dolls unnecessarily to sunlight because they can yellow quickly.

I dont doubt that. Every meet ive been to though there has been a lot of people that like to sit, that like to place their dolls down and chat with fellow owners. The treepatch doesnt offer that opportunity. And like Meef said, being outside, some people would not be happy with that as well.

Because last year, the groups had planned to take their dolls out for a picnic. Bring a blanket and use the shade of the trees.

We could always meet up at the location and then find a quiet corner to sit with our dolls. Since I'll be with another person, I could stay in the first spot while people find decide on the real place, then she could come get me and anyone else who showed up.

There were cosplay meet ups going on at the same time as our doll meet ups in the Lower Dome last year and there were no problems

yes, lining up dolls for a photo takes a whole lot less space than people.
