Here's the MTG schedule for Friday - Sunday.

Listed are ONLY EVENTS. There will be free play and what not all throughout.

It will be updated when it comes closer to the time.

If anyone has any questions or would like to speak to me about anything partaking MTG during Acen, please PM me here or reply on this thread.

I would like to mention, that I know this seems like there aren't a lot events, but with people giving some suggestions, and if we have the free time, I can create events on the fly if need be.

Please keep posted to this thread, as I will be updating it every now and then until Con time.

This seems very light on mtg events.

First off, I heard Acen was holding an Avacyn Restored Prerelease event. Was that cancelled?

Also why a vintage tourney? Was something wrong with the usual legacy tournament? I normally don't see vintage get too much love.

When is that free draft?

I would definitely like to suggest a few events that may get some attention.
EDH Tourney (a casual format that is easy to get into and alot of fun)
Two-headed giant EDH Tourney (whats better than pairing up with a buddy to kick some butt!)
Grand Melee [with specified format] (have too many people who want to play in one giant game? look it up its great!)

I've tried asking multiple staff members, but none could give me an asctual answer. It looks like the draft at 1PM is cancelled for today. Anyone have any info?

What an absolute fail today. No draft, and a pre release for 26 people. Worst year for Magic I've ever seen.

Well, it was stated days ago that there was room for 26 and only 26. If anyone wanted to be involved, they would put in the effort to get in early.

As for the draft situation... They were using what product they had for the drafts. Wait a sec, I mean FREE drafts. Eneishi did everything he could to make everyone happy, and every time I stopped in the ttg area yesterday they were. I met a couple of people at the Magic tables last night who were having nothing but good times (UNTAP UPKEEEEEEP!!!), and I am sure they will do so tomorrow as well.

In the end I think you could be a little more grateful for the opportunity to play and a little less rude. Have a great night and enjoy the rest of the con.

Well when you come here just for the draft (free as in I purchased a badge to attend, so not really free) it's dissapointing. Also, when the staff in the TTG room say "That schedule was leaked and wasn't really official" but neglect to announce that to anyone, it's pretty messed up.

Oh well, I'll spend my money at another con that might treat their customers with a little respect. I'm not going to give any leeway under the guise of a "free" draft. If you had a suspision that there wouldn't have been product, maybe annouce it instead of suprise people the day of. They did good on having a signup for the prerelease (which should pay for since it was a sanctioned event) but everything else magic wise was a sham.

Well I hope everyone else had fun, I just don't pay money to play casual bs magic.

Ya, I didn't follow up on the prerelease because I wasn't able to get on the list. I hope the people that signed it and paid were able to play. I stopped by the gaming office at about 12:45 PM and as far as the two guys in there knew, the sealed prerelease was a for sure. It just sucks that I stopped by at 9 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and lastly at 12:45 PM and the last time I was there they finally gave me a confident answer that the draft was not happening.
