Vic has been acting for stage and screen since he was 8 years old. But he started his career in anime a little over ten years ago as Vega in Streetfighter II. Since then Vic has been in more than a hundred and fifty shows and video games, known for such roles as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Tamaki Suou in Ouran High School Host Club, Fai in Tsubasa Chronicle, Dark in DN Angel, Kurz in Full Metal Panic, Broly in Dragonball Z, Kougaijji in Saiyuki, Ikkaku in Bleach, Yukito in Air, Takanaga in Wallflower, Tatsu in Peacemaker, Luciano in Code Geass, Virgil Walsh in Trinity Blood, Hikaru in Macross and many more. Currently Vic is playing roles in the new Wolverine and Iron Man series on G4. He's also playing Zero in Vampire Knight, and Yoshimori in Adult Swim's Kekkaishi. He is also back in the role of Edward for Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, playing Death Scythe in Soul Eater, as well as Pokemon, Naruto, Bleach and several others. Vic has also voiced roles in a large number of video games including Soul Calibur, Disgaea, Persona III, Sonic Colours, Project Sylpheed, DBZ, Bleach, FMA and more. But even longer than his voice acting, Vic has been a professional music composer / singer / producer who has written and produced hundreds of pieces for TV, radio and CD. He sings the themes for shows like One Piece & DBGT, and has produced several CDs of his own original music, all available on iTunes. Finally, in addition to anime and music, Vic has a degree in film and is deeply involved as an actor and director in several web series like "Nuka Break", "Starship Farragut", and is executive producing a brand new TOS based series "Star Trek Continues". Vic works regularly writing, producing and directing video and film productions of all kinds.

hhahahahahaha yup. XDDDD I feel it's easier to meet Vic at smaller cons so then I don't have to wait in line and stuff for a long time and only get like 2 seconds with him, unlike a smaller con I can actually have a conversation with him. Though I would like to go to one of his panels though just to say I went to see what he talks about.

Actually, I believe he's made a statement not too long ago that he will not say that line anymore. With likely good reason; what started out completely as a joke had gotten way out of hand. There's likely 50+ different videos of Vic saying the line already on Youtube, plus any parody videos by cosplayers, AMVers, and the like, so if you really want to hear him say it, then it's best to just look it up on there.

Uh, no, he isn't. Obviously. I was just using him as an example of a VA who has explicitly stated he doesn't like doing requests. My point was that many VAs feel this way, even if they don't come out and say it as bluntly because they don't want to upset fans. I'm sure SOMEONE will request the stupid miniskirt line. Why they would do that when they consider themselves a fan and know Vic doesn't like it is beyond me.

To be honest I wouldnt think anyone would ask him that. I hadnt planned on it since i heard he doesnt like it and after saying it that one time he has regretted it since most fangirls took it in a "yaoi" way when it wasnt supposed to be. He doesnt like yaoi or BL so why make him sign stuff/say stuff like that :/ hahahaha..some of the videos about wierd things fans have asked him to do are pretty crazy

Oh I'm well aware. I was just joking around. I've seen it on youtube. I'm aware Vic doesnt care for that line at all. The poor man isnt a fan of yaoi-esque/BL stuff anyway and it was made to be a funny/endearing compliment not a romantic thing . However fan girls warped it. The poor man has a right to no longer want to say it.

They do it at Botcon every year with the VAs, and have them preform a skit on Saturday where the VAs that were invited do a whole "Show" that's been written by the writers that are invited every year. And, given the fact that some of the actors that come to ACen are also writers, why not let them write a short skit, using lines that the actors know they will be asked to say by guests, or the most popular lines from characters. This skit can then be preformed and poof, we have a way that fans can get their line fixes, and actors don't have to feel like their preforming monkeys. Also the actors can use it as a way to goof off. Or adlib some of their lines.
I remember seeing a video of Chris Ayers along with several other actors preforming an old radio program of the Shadow at another convention, and it went over really well because it gave them the chance to act and have fun with it, and it gave fans the chance to see their favorite actors well, acting, and isn't that what they're profession is about?

Interesting idea, although I can imagine some VAs would prefer to opt out, because they can't just perform certain voices at the drop of a hat. Going back to Spike Spencer, last year at a con I was at someone asked him to say something in Shinji's voice, and he said it was just too hard to do it without any preparation. But yeah, very interesting idea that could work for a lot of actors and fans.
As to Vic, fans should know by now that he doesn't like yaoi for religious reasons. He's pretty upfront about that. So why do they keep asking? I've seen him twice now and both times people requested the line. I'm sorry, but really, how thick can you get?

There are alot of newcomers to the anime fandom and newcomers to (insert show that he's voiced acted in). many people arent aware of Vic's strong Christian background and take his refusal to do such things as him being arrogant or homophobic which is indeed not true at all. The man is pretty nice and an immense sweet heart especially at his age. He has the right to refuse if he wishes because he has a justifiable reason but not many congoers like you or myself are aware of this. or the new ones to it are not aware of Vic's stance on this.

In regards to opting out, sure that could be done. No one would be forced to do it, I'm just thinking that a good number of Actors and Actresses could find it fun to do.
As for Vic, again I think it's a thin line he walks here. On the one hand, it is his right to say no to it, on the other hand there's a certain expectation to actors for them to play their roles in public, or say famous lines. My honest advice, rather then he say it, maybe hold a silly contest to see who can say the line the best and that winner gets a hug from him or something. Or make it into a joke, "I know a lot of you expect me to say...The line, but it's become so famous that it's become a meme onto itself, so best to let it rest in peace...and come up with a new one."
Edit: Better still, maybe just make a joke on it where it's like lord Voldemort, and be like "No, I can't it's the line that can not be named." Or something goofy like that, where he can make fun of how it's become alive by itself.
