I did not get a chance to attend ACEN last year, so i am wondering, did any of the deals with dvds carry anime blu-ray disks?

I cant remember if i saw them at Youmacon or not.

Last year, yes, there were vendors that had deals on both Blu-Rays and DVDs. However, this year, I can't tell you who will be selling what and what deals they will have since each year dealers tend to bring in new merchandise and even some of the same dealers from years before may have different deals that what they've had in previous years. So it's just best for you to look around the Exhibit Hall at all the booths, make mental notes of who's selling what, and come back to whoever you think has the best deal for your money.

Although it's a bit bias on my part, I do recommend checking out the industry booths first (i.e. booths for Funimation, Section 23, etc.). While their deals usually only give you a few free goodies and you pay retail prices for their items, you are also directly supporting the industry, which is a good feeling IMO.

I saw plenty of dealers that carried anime Blu-rays so I'd imagine there would be plenty as well this year.

I would imagine so. I know my buddy bought quite a few last year on Blu Ray, and I would imagine that this year will bring more of the same.
