Pretty sure we'll see more 3DSs its been out longer and its cheaper. Even though I would prefer Vita

I want a Vita. There is a game coming out for it I want. I have a 3DS though, got a good deal on it. My guess is more of the 3DS, usually I find a nice place to sit and play for a while and more people come and join. XD

More than likely 3DS (out longer, bigger library blahblahblahblah) & the rest of the NDS line. Also, Pokewalkers (great walking/activity count AND you can get the rare items/catches normal lazy days prevent, awwww yeaaaah).

PS Vita literally has /just/ recently come out, so unless they're selling pixies and unicorns that grant wishes in every box, you'll probably only find some scattered here and there and see far more older PSP systems if anything. Was the same deal last year with the 3DS' release, really.

Can we make this into the annual ACen Handheld General thread? Seeing as it'd be good for people to say what they're bringing, and perhaps organize some meet-ups for gaiman. I'll be bringing my DS Lite, and maybe my PSP, but doubtful; I'd rather just bring one handheld this year. If anyone wants to play any of the following, please let me know.

Calling 3DS followed by the Vita, though I expect next year it will be a mix of both. Also I suggest if you bring one you keep a good tight leash on it.

Last year I brought my 3DS. By that point the 3DS had only been out for like a month, but a surprising number of people had one. I reminder to all 3DS owners: There's an achievement for meeting 100 miis in a day, and Acen will definitely be the place to get it done! And I'm really hoping people will have pink pieces...I've finished all the puzzles minus pink pieces. I've got like 10 pink pieces or so, but only two completed new puzzles...(zelda+star fox in case anyone is wondering)

Games I'll have on me:
Pokemon White
Pokemon Rumble Blast
Mario Kart 7
Possibly Nintendogs for 3DS
ACen 2013!
Friday: Atelier Pierrot Fashion Show Model (8am-2pm), Levy [Fairy Tail] (2pm-5pm), Vaporeon [Pokemon] (5pm-end)
Saturday: Mint Neko Fashion Show Model (8am-2pm), Vaporeon [Pokemon] (2pm-end)
Sunday: Levy [Fairy Tail] (all day)
Possibly Houndoom [Pokemon] part of Sunday.

I currently own the following handheld devices:

* Game Gear
* Gameboy Color
* original DS
* PSP (model 2000)
* iPod Touch

If I bring just one to the con, then it would probably be my original DS system. I have a fair number of multiplayer DS games which don't require a connecting cable or an expensive internet connection, including New Mario, Contra 4, and a remake of Super Dodgeball.

Apple will dominate in handheld devices. Have been for years. As for traditional gaming devices, 3DS easily.

I'll still be sporting my faithful DINC, iPhone 4 (oh work, I cannot escape ye), and New IPad. My gaming consoles may stay home..I just don't seem to use them much when at ACEN. Too busy talking and cavorting with people to stuff my face into a game for any given period of time.
