Just wanted to add for one thing, not all people who would be interested in this event are non anime fans and for another there are plenty of other Acen events which are not about anime or only vaguely connected to anime already. So I don't see how this is different. If you really want to avoid having people not interested in anime attending the first thing to do would be get rid of the dance parties.
I've been going to Acen for years and I was very excited when I heard about this event. Even though I probably won't be able to go to the tea party I am excited for the AP booth and am happy they are doing this type of event and hope it means they will continue to invite similar guests and do more events like this at Acen in future years.

I suppose it should be noted that if we are unable to find a badge to link the tea party ticket with, we will contact you to attempt to resolve the matter. I don't really foresee this happening, but if for some reason we are unable to resolve the issue, then the tea party ticket will be forfeited (and refunded) without being linked to a badge, and then put up for sale again.

Another question for people who are getting badges through staff members. You said we need a User ID and an Order Number. We would just say who we got the badge through without those two pieces of info? Because we wouldn't have that information, right? I know you said it before, I just want to be sure. XD

Also if you could open sales before 3:00 PM that would be amazing otherwise I'll be at work and will probably miss out. T-T

If you are a person who has badge from a staffer you would still have a user ID and an order number because you cant get one of those without having an account/info. Log into your account and it'll show up as an order for a 0$ badge and still give you all the info you need to get these tickets. Hope that helps

Just a quick question to be sure: the order # is not the same as the badge #, correct? It's the one in between year & age group, correct?

Also confused about what my order number is. When I try logging in, I get this error: "The site's security certificate is signed using a weak signature algorithm." It says I shouldn't proceed with the log in...

I have purchased my badges with a group and under User ID i cant see the name its attached with
so i dont know which badge is mine? Is the User ID anywhere on the physical badge because mine is already been mailed to me.

I thought with group badges an email was sent out and had the id number for your particualar badge? Maybe check there to see if there was some sort of confirmation. I know that when you order seperate you get this.

I tried that I am the Group leader I did get an email with the badges on it but it doesn't say our names just how many and the type of badge T_T Thats the only one i received.

Really hope the time tickets are going to be released is announced soon. I'm volunteering tomorrow to help run a class at a hospital, and if I need to leave early I have to let them know by 4:00 or so at the latest.

PS: Anyone else unable to log in to Acen and the Acen forums with Google Chrome right now? I'm using my IE at the moment.

Okay, yet another change. We will not be asking for User IDs anymore. What we want is the Order Number and the acen.org username (login) that the badge is for. Regarding Chrome, seems someone elsen mentioned this in the Tech support section. Some are getting it fine, some are not, could it be something with the IPs? By the way is it only acen or is it other sites? Could be a cookie issue too.

Just curious, but what happens if someone purchases a ticket and can not go for reasons? Does that mean that they can not say give the ticket to a friend?

Seems to just be Acen. Facebook, Livejournal, Ebay etc are all fine so far. I scanned my computer for any viruses or malware - all clear, and my computer's date is correct, so I have no clue what's up.

Has the settings changed at all with your Chrome? I don't actually have chrome myself, but I know with IE sometimes it has something to do with the security or the Advanced options get screwed up. Have you tried deleting the browsing history? Could be the way it's reading it, if it sees the same page over and over, it might keep pulling up the old gateway. sorry if words are confusing in any way.

It could also be that chrome is acting up, is it working on like IE or Firefox? I know for a while Acen's systems didn't work on some browers. Hummm.

I have Google Chrome and it is working fine for me. It just says something about a wacky algorithm but you can click the "proceed anyway" button and it works fine.
