If you could be an anime character, who would you be? And why, but that's optional. GO!

I would be Major Motoko Kusanagi. Not many are surprised by that. XD
I would because she is a strong willed woman and a great leader. But what's great about her is that she in a way doesn't know what she wants and still questions herself but is confident in the way she is. She really doesn't care about what other people think of her, but she's hard on herself. I feel I connect with her on weird personality levels, it's pretty cool. And I mean COME ON she's so hawt. :3 This would be longer if I could go on. XD

He already reminds me so much of me why not more right? Love the guy because he starts from zero and later becomes a hero (I'm sorry for the cliché ) He never gives up when times are tough, he has an arsenal of friends that will back him up in the toughest of times! He is, dare I say? AMAZING!

He may have a 160 million yen debt and has to work as a butler for the rest of his life but he always has some crazy skill to save the day and the ladies want him. Also I want crazy adventures

I would take it to another level and be Akemi Homura, because.. why not? Except I would be nothing like her character. I would abuse my magical time-traveling powers, party one night and start it over the same night in her wacky apartment, kick people's butt without them knowing I was even there, and confuse Madoka with BTTF references.

Balsa from Moribito. A skilled warrior and intelligent. She doesn't care for class and lives by her moral code. Loyal to the core. I have an awkward motherly tendency like her too XD.

If it could be a girl character, Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun. Magic, a heart of justice, and being amazingly powerful while incredibly kind and big hearted. I love Slayers and aside from Lina she's my favorite character in the series.

If it had to be a boy, Sousuke Sagara. Piloting a giant mech would be awesome and with sousuke sagara it's not for some godly experiment or a intergalactic war. It's mercenary work in the name of justice which I can totally get behind on

Hard one as most characters lead a very weird life...

I think if I could be anyone, I'd probably want to be Yugi Mutou from Yugioh. Main reason being that, while yes he does have an ancient egyptian spirit causing him issues, he doesn't have the mental or physical issues that plague so many other characters. He has friends, has a loving family, and seems to care a lot for other people. Not sure whatelse to say.

There are several that would be interesting - Miria from Baccano (yeah she's a ditz, but she and Isaac sure have fun!), Sana from Kodocha (pretty much the exact opposite of me - I wonder what it's like to be outgoing...), and Lina from Slayers (um, she's awesome? lol) all crossed my mind, but I think in the end I'd pick Sora from Digimon. She's spunky, she's thoughtful, she's a bit of a tomboy, she has enough adventures to keep things interesting, and she has a large group of close friends that she actually stays friends with over the years. Oh, and she marries my favorite character ever - that doesn't hurt either.

If I were a boy character I'd be Rowan of Guilty Crown because then I could hang out with the GHQ trio ;A;. I'd love to be bossed around by Segai~~
Or Kodaka of Haganai. It'd be fun to hang out with Meat and Yozora... Also Yukimura as my lackey? Yesss..

If I were a girl I'd be Girl Guest of Gregory Horror Show just because it's Gregory Horror Show :/

As for a character that's similar to me there's only one! Toshino Kyouko of Yuru Yuri. We're both pretty much the same in the "my pace" department. I also have a cute girl I fawn over and tease all the time. ;w; Though I am missing a rivalrun..

It's whatever you'd like it to be. :3 That's why it's vague. If you could be an anime character who would you be--as in if they're like you, then sure! If not, then go for it! Vagueness is key. :3

I think Sango is a very beautiful woman, so it would be nice to be beautiful and have a well defined body. I admire the fact that she is strong, and confident in herself. I would love to have that confidence in myself and to be able to stand alone and be indepedant. Also, she protects her brother and is very selfless towards him..I find this to be true to myself, as I am also very selfless towards my brothers. I always put my family before myself. The last reason, above all, is simply that her personality is very similar to mine.

I feel like i'm reviving a dead thread here but i found it interesting so i'm going to do it anyway, I would say Rally Vincent from Gunsmith Cats. Although me thinks most of you may have never heard of it because it's pretty old. Rally is an expert gun shooter, owns a gunshop, a 67 gt cobra 500, and is a bounty hunter. And to top it off her gunshop/home and story all take place in chicago. I'm in chicago. I thought it was cool that and i think she's hot.

For a girl, I'd love to have been Kushina Uzumaki from Naruto- even given the end she had. I loved her character, her flaws, and the way she was able to find herself- along with a really great guy! For that tooth-and-nail bravery, she's outlived her lifespan in the manga for all true Naruto fans. The embodiment of the kunoichi philosophy, I'd say...

And if I were a guy- probably Vash the Stampede. Just because awesome. <3

Keiichi Morisato from Ah My Goddess! That SOB has everything: job that he enjoys, a sweet and loving sister, a strong group of friends...and an unbelieveably hot literal goddess in love with him, who would do everything and anything for him. Yes, I'd have to deal with Belldandy's nutbar sisters--Urd, the literal sex goddess who has devoted her immortal life to getting me hooked up with her sister, and Skuld, who can invent anything. Yes, there's also the occasional demon and/or world-destroying event, but having a s/o who literally has a direct line to God kind of makes up for that.

Unfortunately, the anime character that I am is Yukari Tanizaki--the insane teacher from Azumanga Daioh. Except for the part of her being a raging alcoholic.

While not anime, I would like to be Barry Allen (aka Flash). Superspeed would save me tons of gas money & make my job easier. Plus he's one of the most down to earth & realistic character out of the entire Justice League. He uses violence as a last resort, prefering to use his brains, wits, & words before turning to his fists.

As for anime characters... for guys I would say Pace from Arcana Famglia. He can be rather childish & carefree at time, but he's reliable & has superstrength.

For female charaters, Nami from One Piece. Smart, attractive, & I wouldn't be getting lost so much >,<

I think i'd have to choose Faye Valentine from Cowboy bebop. She's a beautiful woman, not afraid to handle a gun, and can really weasel her way in and out of things. I think what i admire most about her is she's flawed. She has skills yes but it really made her feel more human that she wasnt perfect at everything. You'd never really see her cry though even when times got rough (well except one obvious moment). Maybe it sounds weird to say that i enjoy a flawed character...lol.
If i were to choose a boy character (if i had the choice xD that's be kinda awesome) I think i'd have to go with Roger Smith from Big O. He's suave, smart, kicks so much behind, and is overall a very unique individual. Oh yea, he's also got a Megadeus and a robot woman lol. <3
