DC here again. Proud to announce Carpe DM: Gamemastery for Tabletop RPGs is back for its fourth straight year.
I'll be covering the usual topics - the value of preparation, the importance of rules, and gamemaster tactics- but this year they allowed me two hours, so I'll be devoting more time to a topic that seems to be a favorite: The Trouble with Gamers.
I hope to see you there.

But of course! It's sort of why the panel exists.

Huh, yeah I can see how that'd be upsetting. I honestly don't remember that topic, but I don't blame you for being offended. I try to keep things to a PG-13 level, especially as kids sometimes attend, but it's hard to control the subject matter when the floor is opened for questions and discussion. I certainly try not to encourage such topics.
Nevertheless, I appreciate the kind words and understand if you don't feel comfortable in such a situation. If ever you should want to discuss GMing or RPing in general, feel free to PM me, or swing on by Artists' Alley. I make comics (some of them based off my RPG adventures) and love talking to folks. Panda Rage Productions, AKA Onward Bound (the title of the comic).

It's a panel, aimed at gamers in general, gamemasters in specific.
I cover mostly topics such as how to develop storytelling skills, the importance of preparation, the role of rules, and a topic I like to dub Cheap Theatrics.
They've given me about 30 extra minutes this year, and I reckon I'm going to slide in extra category on The Trouble With Gamers.
Fourth year running. Folks seem to enjoy it.

Well, I chose to post it here as it seemed likely that gamers might be interested in a panel related specifically to RPGs as I wasn't sure how many we have of those this year.
I reckoned worst case scenario a mod would move it. Since it's been a month since the original posting I gathered I might be in the clear.
I figure no harm posting notice about a panel about gaming in the gaming forum. Or am I wrong, mods?
