Will call means that instead of having your badge mailed to you, you would pick it up at the convention center. You can check your order to see if you having mailing for your badge. If you do not have mailing for your badge, email us at registration@acen.org and we can help you add it on.

My tier says "pre-order at con." Hope that's like tier one. But more interesting is the "tracking numbers" field on my order. Oooh~ Are we going to have tracking numbers we can check on the Post Office's website this year? That would rock!

Hello,

Unfortunately we will NOT be having tracking numbers. That field is there for any generic site orders such as 12 Days of Acen. Because of the cost of using tracking numbers, we are NOT using them for badge orders.

Tier3 ends on March 15th. We intend the last wave of badges to be mailed shortly thereafter. We ship all badges First-Class Mail via USPS, which according to their website is delivered “within 3 days in most cases”. We will be announcing all mail waves and tier/purchase dates on the ACen Forums and through social media.

If you do not receive your badge after one week of your announced wave, please contact the Registration Team at registration@acen.org. They will be more than happy to look into what went wrong and find resolution for you.

I have been waiting until I have something substantial to give in an update instead of continuously repeating "we're working on it". Due to unforeseen circumstances this years badge mailing is a lot closer to the convention than I would like for it to be and we will be implementing changes for 2013. However, my staff and I still anticipate that the badges will all be sent out by the earlier stated time frame with the last wave to be mailed shortly after the close of Tier3 on the 15th.

Since we are mailing badges by tier date (i.e. purchase date) order, it would depend on which roadshow you registered at. Youmacon and Kollision will be going out within Tier2 badges, while Ohayocon and Anime Milwaukee will be going out within Tier3 badges.

its most likely going to come down to the wier at most maybe 1-2 weeks befor the con hits so yeah

Making angry posts every single day on the forums will not make it go faster and honestly makes no one take you seriously. Also you do realize that they already stated that they don't expect the last badges to be mailed till around March 15th so they have given you a new time frame.

Acen is going to be late with their badges being mailed out. If there was over 10,000 people attending an anime con thats alot of envelopes. So its hard work for the staff. They are doing their best. Hopefully they will have it mailed before April 26th. I don't know how many people are attending this year but I know last year, the lines were very long for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Give them a break

I have a question, I'm sorry if you have already answered it a bunch of times. I know you guys are waiting on the badges etc.

I was just wondering if I pre-reg at last years acen am I apart of tier 1? and have you sent out any of tier 1 yet? I just want to make sure I havnt missed it or its gotten lost in the mail.

UPDATE

I just got to look at my badge on the website and I bought my badge for this year at last years con. I paid the extra money to have it mailed, and for some reason it says that I have will call. This is the 2nd year in a row where I have paid to have my badge mailed to me and I had to pick it up at the con. I was never given my money back for not getting it mailed to me, and I was promised that it wouldn't happen again this year.

I'm hoping this can be fixed and I will receieve my badge in the first tier because that is when I paid for it to be mailed and why I did it in advance.

I'm not mad i'm just a little unhappy but I understand that stuff happens. I sent an email to the address you have above I'm just hoping to get this fixed so I can have my badge mailed to me in tier 1 like I paid for.

I was Tier 2 but I was one of the people who had to add-on mailing later. Will my badge be sent out with other Tier 2 badges?
