I was talking to somebody about how I made the reservations this year, and they said something about how they take out the first night's charge from your account before you check-in. The way he said it made it sound like it happens weeks before, while I was expecting the day before check-in. I'm staying at the Hyatt. When will I be charged for that first night?

they take it out the first night on 4th of april

not sure about the others

you can ask them when there going

Taken from my reservation info page from the Hyatt website:

"Cancellation Policy: One Night Room/Tax Deposit-No Refunds After April 4, 2012
Guarantee Policy: Credit Card Guarantee Required"

So like above poster said April 4th is when the first night is charged and no refunds after that.

At least at the Hyatt. Embassy takes out night before date of reservation.
