After 1 1/2 years away from the con scene, my sis now has a beautiful 8 month old boy and is ready to try the Artist Alley again! I'm so excited that ACen is our first one back - we've always loved attending this con!

~ Info ~

We are Tenkuu no Chibi (tables 158/159, here), and we sell handmade pins and magnets made out of craft foam. We'll have about 160 characters able to be bought on sight, over 250 more available to be made at the con, and we of course take commissions, including but not limited to anime characters, original characters, and self portraits. We are also sharing our space with a good friend of mine, 52sheep on deviantArt, who will have things like stickers and keychains. She loves all things old school as well as MLP, and her stuff is adorable, so do check her out! <3

~ Commissions ~

Most commissions are $5, with very few winding up in the $7 category.

Please be ready to provide a reference picture should I need it.

* If you're interested in commissioning something, doing so before the con not only really helps me out, but depending on how many and which ones you'd want (generally 5 or more), there are special discounts available. We also limit people to 3 commissioned pins at a time at the convention so we have time to get to everyone's - we don't have a limit for orders made beforehand. If you're interested, just drop me a Note on my dA or email (alex_gwydion@yahoo.com), and we can talk from there. *

YAY!!!! I'm so happy you're back, I got a couple of pins done as magnets last time you were at Acen, and I enjoy them on my desk at work every single day!! I might need to commission you for a couple of custom designs, just need to pull together some references.

Aw, I'm so glad you like them! I know in 2010 we had a prototype Dalek that we sold to someone who wanted it as a magnet - was that you per chance? (If so, I'm curious to hear how that's held up with how heavy it was! lol)

Aw, thanks! I'm glad you like the TARDIS, though I don't usually bring it or the Dalek to cons as they're really quite big for pins (about twice the size of my average pin) and take a while to make. I could make one ahead of time and bring it if you wanted one, though (they, however, are $10... ;; ).

By the way, you have some cute jewelry on your dA!

I checked out your DevArt page. Your pins are absolutely adorable! I'm definitely going to swing by your booth at the con. I also might have a couple of requests for you, but I'll send that to you via DA note. I do have a question about that though. For commissions requested before the convention, will you require payment then, or will we be able to pay at-con? (Because I have a ton of characters that I'd want, but don't see on your page)

InuMiko6787 - You can pay when you pick up the pins at the con - I have had very few issues with people not picking up an order, so as long as that keeps up, that's how pre-con commissions will continue to work. And I'm hoping that after ACen I'll finally have over 500 characters (currently sitting around 450), so the more new pins you can add to that cause, the better, I say! lol

DC Panda - I remember that commission - I'm glad you enjoy them (I love doing people's original characters)! I look forward to seeing you both again this year!

Ahhh, ok, I remember that order (don't get a lot of people asking for Kero or Mokona). Figured I'd ask since you happen to be a Dr. Who fan and I distinctly remember making a Dalek magnet - mostly people ask for pins.

Just wanted to note that I do take commissions up through the Wed before the con (the 25th). Since it's crunch time, however, I may not have it finished first thing Friday morning depending on what is being commissioned, but at the very least it would still help me prepare for it and it'd be the first thing I work on once there.
