We've posted our first draft of the panel schedule at http://www.acen.org/...nel-programming . This is only our first group of panelists and is missing 4-5 rooms since they have not filled yet. We have about 90 more applications to review and more professional panels to add! Descriptions will be posted within the next week or so. Enjoy!!!

I thought I'd post the Hyatt floor plan and capacity chart since we haven't really held panels in these rooms before so most don't know where they are XD

Most rooms are on the International Level (basement) except for LAX AB and Rosemont which are on the Entry Level. Once we post our other rooms I'll add those maps too

The capacity chart says some of the rooms are "permanent conference" but they have removed those tables so they're just normal rooms now

Hello, I'm hosting the Henshin! panel and the Toku Tropes panel for ACen, and though I like the time for the Friday night panel, I don't think the Tropes panel will work on Sunday at noon. My co-panelist has to catch a train to MI at 4pm, and she thinks with the Metra trains in Chicago, she won't make it. I know panels are being finalized, but I was wondering if it's possible to change the Sunday panel to Saturday, or earlier on Sunday in the morning....

Tropes has been moved to an earlier time on sunday. It can move earlier than that if you need more time by 30 minutes, just let me know.

I had requested So You Wanna be a Pokemon master - a Pokemon fan panel- to be on Saturday. I'm not sure when my co-panelist will be leaving Chicago. I am taking the bus and I have to be downtown by the early afternoon. Sunday's won't do at all for my team. We had always done a Friday or Saturday panel time slot for this panel at other conventions. Is there any way we can get this switched??!

And I also haven't been able to find my other panel listed anywhere on the schedule: Are You Smarter than an Otaku? I tried the search function, but it didn't find it.

Yes there will be an ACen event fashion show and at least 1 panel fashion show.

Tsukeru, it's best to email us for schedule changes but atm we can move you to 1am Saturday in the same room (it's about 300-350) or we'll have to move you into a smaller room if you'd like to be earlier. None of the panels in that room can really move around unfortunately. Let me know which you would prefer. If you see a while/empty slot in the schedule somewhere you can request that time. You should compare the room names to the capacity chart that's linked though, some of the rooms are smaller and better for more personal, smaller fandoms.

I had attempted a PM with you about this situation because email seems to get ignored or unanswered when it comes to ACen's email addresses lately. 1 am is way too late on Saturday. This is a rated G panel, meant for all ages. We are only expecting 50 - 175 people for this panel. It only maxed out once at Youmacon once, because of the room size. I don't know why all of my requests or information seems to be getting ignored when it comes to this panel. We've never had issues getting our requests met for our Pokemon panel.

Your requests are not being ignored, I'm trying to find you a good time for your panel, I'm only making you aware of the room size difference. We put your panel on Sunday because that is Kid's day this year at ACen and thought it would be highly attended by the influx of children who will be coming. Your panel is now on Friday at 1pm in Narita AB. Please continue to watch the schedule, panels are still shifting between rooms and times and sometimes change by as little as 15 minutes.

I'm sorry for being complicated but thank you for fixing the issue as quickly as possible. We were just really worried about catching our bus/trains since we aren't from the Chicago area. And thank you once again. We really appreciate this.

A Quick Question. Devil May Cry Saga panel is scheduled for the Narita a-b room. I'm curious after looking at it, does that mean we will be having both rooms or just Room a or b?

Both rooms. We are not dividing any of the A-B rooms because they become too small to use. It's an air wall, we're just not using it. So you get two doors

We just finished scheduling panels this week. We just need to meet with GR and make sure we have enough guest panel slots assigned before we post the schedule. The meeting is this weekend so I'm hoping to post the schedule Saturday night or Sunday. We atm have 241 panels (not including guest and industry panels)

Ohhh Goodie! When do we find out about guest and industry panels? or is that something that will be given at con? With so many panels I hope I dont have to many conflicts with ones I wish to attend

We have tried to spread out the genres, so the cosplaying aren't during related, and such. It's a very wide awesome range of panels. With 241 panels it's likely 2 will be going at once you would want to see but that is hard to avoid with 15 rooms and 241 panels Hopefully there will be something for everyone to enjoy though!

We do have some industry panels posted atm, and will be hopefully posted more soon. ATM we have NIS America, and Gaia Online coming. I have more in my files waiting to be posted very soon I don't have an answer on Guest panels though since Panel Programming does not manage those, they fall under Guest Relations. All of the Green time slots though are guest panels and I can say I just increased the green time slots on our new schedule (that isn't posted yet) to make sure we have room for them all
