I've been trying to get in contact with someone from Panel Programming for a little while now to make a couple changes to my panels. I've sent e-mails to panelprogramming-departmenthead@acen.org and panelprogramming@acen.org and have also used the "Contact Us" feature on the acen.org website. Am I sending e-mails to the wrong place? If so, whom should I contact to receive a reply?

Sorry if this seems a bit brusque. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Ditto the sentiment. I was never notified about my panels for this year, and, after finding out one was approved (status of the other? Unknown.) went to get my badge finalized - only to find out that something is pending. Can't get the badge, can't find out if the panels are approved, and can't get a response from panel programming.

I thought the debacle from last year was disheartening (my panel time got switched at the last moment - then got switched again, and almost no one showed up!)and so we offered to help this year, but after being assured someone would contact me about that, nothing happened. Now I can't get a response for my panels for this year.

I know those folks have other jobs. So do I - which is why I need to know if I need to spend the next two months prepping for my panel, or if I can just sit back and focus on my paying job.

What about it, Panel Programming? Can we get some responses?

Same here. Checked my profile to make sure the email was correct. I manage to get the monthly newsletters so someone's sending stuff. No bounces, just no responses.

There's probably an issue with our spam filter unfortunately. I just rechecked both emails and our only unanswered are ones we got today. Also when a panel is approved our system automatically sends out the approval email, it's not something we do manually. We forced it to send the approval emails twice to make sure everyone got it. So if you did not receive your approval email then you should check your profile email address and possibly change it to a different email if you have another.

The list of currently approved panels was sent to the panelist mailing list. Due to the can-spam law we do not automatically make a mailing list of our panelists, we have you join it. There's a sticky on the panel programming forum with the link to join. Once you join you can log into the mailing group and view previous emails which will show the list of approved emails if the system emails aren't making it to you.

We just finalized our additional function rooms last week (woot) so we can now move forward with approving some of the 2nd batch of panels since we now know we'll have room for them. The 2nd batch is anyone who applied after the initial deadline Oct 31st, before the deadline was extended "until we are full" which we closed last week.
