So for this year's ACen I decided on running a panel based on Umineko no Naku Koro ni (When the seagulls cry) and applied a few months back. The request went through and got approved so here I am.
I have just finished writing the first draft of the first half for my 'game' and it seems to be going rather well so far. When I'm done I hope to provide you all with an entertaining hour or so.

I figure it would be worth asking what you all would be expecting, any questions you have, or comments.

I've never been too this type of panel and am very intrested is it like a murder mystery thing?

Why yes it is. A story will be told from the perspective of one of the members of the people at the conference. Given this information along with some red text, it'll be up to the audience to figure out who and how the murders were committed.
I don't believe it'll take the whole hour and a half, but it's better to have more time than not enough time for this panel.

Is this more of a murder mystery game or are we going to be discussing Umineko in depth and the theories presented in Arcs 1-8

Depending on the schedule for cosplay events, I might be available to cosplay Ronove for this.

So do you need Umineko characters for your panel?

It won't be necessary, but volunteers are welcome to play the parts of the characters for flavor purposes.

Although I made a room change and changed the time to much later in the day, there was still a decent group that showed up. We went through our entire allotted time, and I got to stump everyone on who the murder was for the majority of the panel!
The red text from the panel will be posted here later so you guys can figure out what really happened. After some time I'll write out the entire script for you all.

Hopefully next year things will go just as great with Knox's rules being implemented.
