Remember the Dragonball Evolution movie? Well, I loved it. It was terrible, yes, but to me it was "Street Fighter" terrible and I couldn't stop laughing at it. It's an absolutely godawful movie. For some reason, I decided to take the movie and re-edit it with a bunch of additions including the movie's deleted scenes and other random stuff. Why? I have no idea. But it's a fun watch and I've actually been working on this project off and on for the last 2 years since it first came out. At the moment I'm actually in the middle of putting the finishing touches on an HD-quality re-edit of it. So, since I'm almost finished with it, I thought it would be really fun to watch with everyone at Anime Hell this year instead of seeing that terrible FotNS dub for the billionth time. I know I'm probably a little too late with this request, but I figured I'd bring it up anyway. If I'm sadly too late for this year, how might I go about getting something arranged for a screening next year?

Well, I have no idea.

You see, I have nothing to do with Anime Hell. (I watch it when I can, but that doesn't count, right?)

No, this department only does legal releases of anime.

Also, Anime Hell isn't something where everybody brings their own stuff-- it's one guy, and a traveling show he runs. I think what you're looking for is Midnight Madness, and that's handled through Main Programming, if they're still doing it.
There is a slight flaw in my character.

Anime Hell is a main programming event, not video programming XD and yes midnight madness is happening. Both events go through main programming. But I think it's the same case as Anime Hell where it's run by specific people. You'll need to get in touch with main prog for more info.

Ah you're right. I mix up Midnight Madness and Anime Hell all the time because they follow each other. I figured there were certain channels I needed to go through to work something out, so I wanted to try the forums to get pointed in the right direction. I'll try getting in touch with Main Programming then. Thanks.

Edit: I looked around and didn't see any contact info for Main Programming. How can I get in touch with them? I ended up sending an email to Video Programming about it anyway, just to keep the ball rolling somewhere.

I can't speak for my DH and/or ADHs here...but since there's *maybe* two of us MPers (myself included) that are active on these forums I'll jump in! I suggest emailing mainprogramming@acen.org and asking Gendo (our fearless leader/DH) about what you want to show. I will say that he's a little slow to answer sometimes......which is why I'll shoot one of our ADHs an email for you too. If I hear anything from her, I'll be sure to post it here and let you know.

Sorry I can't be more help than this...but such is the case when you're just a widdle regular staffer like me. >_<

Main Programming Staff ~ Five years and counting...
2012 Conventions ~ Anime Milwaukee, Anime Central, AnimeWorld Chicago, Geek.Kon, Ramencon, Youmacon(?), Kollision Con
2012 Cosplay ~ Alex Mercer (85%)

Huh...Welcome to the top of the food chain.

Midnight Madness follows Anime Hell so closely because it's done by the same person, me.
