This is my 12th year at ACen but only second year on Reddit (I only recently made an account, though). It's hard to get the Chicago Reddit group to meet up, so I thought maybe it'd be easier to get those who go to ACen anyways to agree to meet up over the convention weekend? My Reddit account is DolceSpezia if you're interested. I'll be posting something on there for this, most likely in the anime subreddit.

I'm reluctant to suggest a meetup time and place just yet, especially with the schedule not out. I'd hate for it to conflict with any major event or panel. If anyone has any suggestions, or is willing to come at all, please comment. I'd really like to plan something out and meet some new people.

I will be taking full responsibility (with the help of a couple others) in getting a proper meetup planned, there will probably be food, and prizes and other fun crap (last year some dude brought a boombox and we dances outside, it was rather hilarious). Don't quite know what the full plan is yet, but if you're willing to help plan it, that would be awesome :3

Should I keep an eye on this post, or check frequently for you to make a new thread regarding the meetup? I'd hate to miss any details.

Yay :3 I suppose I shouldn't expect this thread to get very busy until a few weeks before the convention, but I keep checking here anyways. Very excited to meet some new people.

The Facebook group says outside the Great Expoteria restaurant (it's that cafe on the side of the convention center facing the Hyatt, if I'm not mistaken) at 7pm on Saturday. Hope to see you there.
