I must buy a new manga series for super cheap at the dealer's room and spend Sunday reading them all. Don't know why, but I feel compelled.
That, and I'm a cheap butt that loves a good deal.

Before I leave, I always play Rogue Galaxy (random I know. lol Not my favorite rpg, I just like it normally) During Acen, have at least one McDonalds walk

Dude, Rogue Galaxy is a great game that I discovered after its time. I played it on my PS3 like a year and a half ago, and I really dug it.

It's a good game, I LOVE the battle system, voices, and characters, but my biggest beefs with it are that is has like minor character development, and the story kinda fizzled out at the end. Besides that tho, I love the mess out of that game.

Yeah the battle system is tight. They need to make a sequel to that game.

The McDonald's March that so many people do is normally made once if weather is decent.

I've had super mixed results with Brawl competition at ACen. Lots of very casual people that are pushovers, and yet every now and then you get the random tournament player who whoops me. Of course it also depends on how far into the night I am...

i have a few acen traditions,

annoying my girlfriend by making her dye my hair the Thursday before ,

of course there's the group cheers/shot to hit off hard core synergy on the first night(I've been going since 2010)

there's my friend tony having some sort of problem that sucks at the time but is funny later, first year was him feeling bad because people didn't "get" his costume (grim reaper from guitar hero) but loved me and my girlfriends cosplay, (ichigo and rukia) second year he broke his toe in the hotel shower and decided to walk it off rather than waste Acen time in the hospital, LOL but i hope that's a tradition out group breaks.

then there's going to eat at McDonalds on Sunday right before hitting the road. it's what i consider the worlds saddest McNuggets

o ya one ex-tradition I'm actually glad to be breaking but in also kinda gonna miss it showing up at the convention center at 6am on Friday and still being behind about a dozen people to get out tickets, but this year i already pre-ordered them and there getting mailed to us. o ya the part I'm gonna miss is meeting the people in line with us, i always brought a hacky sack so if anyone remembers that guy who started a circle dressed as bankai ichigo around 6:30 am last year be sure to say hi

Friday morning, on the way to the con, we stop at the Wal-Mart in my town and use their coinstar and pick up some snacky foods. More often than not, people will ask to take pictures with us even though they don't know what we're doing.

i never really had a tradition (at least not one that i noticed) but last acen i spent all day on the sales floor friday till it closed, then went straight to sleep...saturday is usually a half hour on the dealers floor then several hours in the video rooms with panels inbetween...i'll probably stick pretty close to that in the next few years lol

Since I live in Chicago, I go to Mitsuwa or I make my own lunches/dinners in the hotel room and chill out.

This year I'm hoping to make Takoyaki in my room.

I used to go to MCDs with friends and it doesn't seem to be changing each year though. But this year I'm not eating any MCDs, but I will watch you eat. Changing my diet.

Going to try to have one restaurant meal with my baby sister and catch up (somehow, also a tradition - trying to kill the other tradition where I fuss over her)- then the rest of the time, it's rice noodles, veggies and fruit. Stupid food intolerances...

Hey, let's get a few rounds. I haven't been playing in a LONG time, but I use to be really good at the game, I also like to get some challenge from people playing Brawl. (I went to this random tournament and still got 3rd after not playing the game in a year. lol XD)

Honestly? I start bombarding my system with vitamins and supplements to avoid getting sick at ACEN. Every year I forget to do it, I get con plague.

Beyond that, I try to get a good breakfast on Sundays.
