For those panelist that are getting a free badge due to amount of panels they are doing for ACen, how do we go about signing up and pre-regging for our panel? Or will we have to wait for instructions?

I'm not an official ACen reg staff member, but I had two panels signed up for and went through this process, so here's how I went about doing it.

You had to submit your ACen registration name to Panel Programming when you submitted your panel ideas, so you need to sign into the ACen registration page like you would normally if you were buying your badge using that registration name.

You should already have a three-day badge added to your cart. (Make sure your information is up-to-date like addresses and emergency numbers.) Go ahead and check out as you would normally. When you do, it will already register in the system that you have a discount added to your account, and if you have two or more panels approved, it will come up with a cost of "0" dollars. Finish checkout. And that's it! If your discounts haven't been applied you'll need to talk to a member of Registration staff and they'll be able to help you.

Thank you Sayuri for your response. If the discount isn't showing, or you have a panel pending you can contact panelprogramming@acen.org as well and we can fix that for you. Sometimes it submitted two of an application and it doesn't let you check out but that's an easy fix

No problem. I was a little curious as to how it would all work myself, but once I got in there it was a very easy to-do process. Props to Panel Programming and Reg Staff for getting together on this one. It makes things MUCH easier.

lol I use to be the registration department head. So coming in as the new Panel Prog dept head it was fairly easy to look at the process and redo it so it's much smoother. I'm glad it's working well so far

Please note! Badges are no longer picked up in the Liberty room of the Hyatt (registration has gotten a bit crowded in there XD ) So we've moved it to our office in Gatwick which is in the basement of the Hyatt to the left at the bottom of the stairs. There will be singage Spread the word to your fellow panelists
