I teach Dance and Object Manipulation. This is specifically about object manipulation. the skills most often associated with this are Poi(GlowStrining)/Staff/Double staff/Juggling, though there are many more.

In this class we will go over safety so we don't have to worry about anyone hitting other people on accident then we will break people up by toy and skill level and go about teaching control to those with little to no experience and for those with a bit more we will put them together in groups at about the same skill level so that everyone can share skills moves etc!

This will also be a great way to bring the community together a bit more for this event! I hope we can make this happen!

At this point I'm trying to get something set up. I'm hoping to have this officialized as a panel if not I may try to organize a place for us to all meet up on Friday and Saturday such as that large lot on the corner outside the food court off to the side from the fountain. So do you have much object manipulation experience?

You will probably like this if you enjoy staff. It's more dance then rave and I'm not doing a lot of tech work but enjoy!

Final approvals are going out this week. We've already sent the initial denials so if you haven't gotten a denial yet you have a good chance.

Need any help with the panel? Some of the members of a troupe I'm part of will be coming to ACen. Two of them use staff (Contact and Martial Flow), swords and poi. I'm a hooper, myself. /> They're also planning on making and selling practice poi (Monkey's Fists) in Artist's Alley for a cheaper price than Home of Poi.

We won't be doing this workshop this year. my partner and I will be hosting the formal ball and didn't want to divide our attention from something that big.
