What series should I make buttons out of? I'm out of the loop on popular series...

So I am very much out of the loop on what is popular right now! I just got a button maker for Christmas and am trying to get suggestions on what to make buttons for. I do headshot buttons, as I know a lot of people who do chibis and would like something a little different. I have already made Sailor Moon ones, which you can see as an example of my buttons here: http://kikaisaigono....ttons-280384711

I am working on human versions of the MLP ponies right now. Does anyone have any good suggestions for me that might do well? Also, I got some advice on another forum on how much of each to bring, but do you have any experience on how much I should bring with me? Thank you in advance for helping me out! :)

That is so cool and I love the Sailor Moon ones.

Honestly stuff that would sell a lot would be Poke'mon, Hetalia Axis Powers, Black Butler aka Kuroshisuji, Naruto, Bleach,...(put anything that is mainstream here).

I would personally would want to see these ones:
Ghost in the Shell (well of COURSE I would put that here :3)
Evangelion
Elfen Lied
Trigun
Cowboy Bebop
Rurouni Kenshin

symbols, stuff from popular video games (both old and new school) nintendo and bioware games especially popular. having a variety will really increase clientele. i had a lot of excellent feedback from people with buttons i bought from acen last year (especially World ends with You and the Umbrella corp logo).

Fruits Basket would bring in a lot of people. Especially like Kyo and Yuuki ones for sure. Maybe Kingdom Hearts as well?

I'd love to see some Fairy Tail buttons. I don't know if they'd sell well, admittedly it's personal preference. Pokemon would probably do well. Starters, Eevees and Legendaries, probably others too but those are the ones that jump to mind first.

I'd buy Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, Ah! My Goddess, and Pokemon ones pretty quickly :3 I'd love to see more "old school" series fan works at conventions. I hardly ever buy fanart now because it's all of series I have no real interest in having on my wall/bag :\

Wow guys, thanks so much for all the suggestions. I've taken them all down and will try to get as many as humanly possible done by Acen. I also have added a few more, some that are my favorites, haha.

I added them to my worklist, if you have any more keep them coming! I feel this will be helpful to people who are trying to come up with print ideas too! :)


Also Motoko -- please stop by and tell me where you are too! I would love to see your work as well! :)

For sure!!! But one little thing, I'm not in the artist alley. XD I do draw and all, but I'm not an artist. lol but I'll be in there in her 2nd GIG outfit on Saturday and I'll definitely stop by and say hi!!! (I'll be holding a Yellow Tachikoma plushie :3).

I will be at #56! My partner at the table next to me will also be selling really cute buttons. :) She's a pro at it though, where as I am fairly new... XD
