Since I've seen Acen Staff comment on regular topics and I haven't seen anything on the Sticky'd topic, maybe I'll get an answer by creating a new topic...

I posted this last week on Friday on the Aloft Block Sticky:

When I go to the link to book a room there, it tells me the room rate is $160 for 4 people. Not the $140 listed above. (copy and paste from page below)

We called the hotel to find out what was going on with the extra cost and they informed me that the price was $119 for single, $140 for double, $150 for triple, and $160 for quad. I said that the info Acen was giving out said double, triple and quad were all the same $140. She said that they "might wave the extra fee" when we're there, but she couldn't guarantee it.

Can someone on the Acen Staff in charge of the Hotel info, find out what we need to do to get the extra cost waved, or if that is indeed correct, update the rates accordingly?

I have reviewed the rates for our room block and they are correct. I believe that the issue you encountered was a result of the weblink error, which has been corrected. I am sorry for the inconvience.

I've already booked my rooms - what do I need to do to ensure that I'm only billed the $140/quad rate instead of the quoted $160/quad rate I was given when I reserved the rooms?

I'm still looking for an answer to this question. My reservation confirmation still says $160 per night. What do I need to do to ensure I only get charged $140/night?

I would suggest calling the hotel directly and checking with them. Tell them the situation, and that you are part of the Anime Central room block, and ask that they correct your reservation rate.

Our confirmation has the base rate of $160 per night + the various taxes and fees, so our average per night is closer to $180 per night. We'll try calling the hotel to get it fixed, but I'm doubting they'll do anything - we called them already after MagnusBlue said it was fixed on the website and they told us "well.. it's our policy to charge $10 per extra person in the room, and the base rate for a single room is $119 - the $140 is the rate for double occupancy, not 4 people, the block information you received must be wrong"
